We have 3 hydrants outside, and unfortunately one froze last year and broke and had to be replaced. To prevent this, I got these covers, and they work really well! It is secured with velcros and that actually works well! We have crazy winds sometimes, and nothing has taken these covers off, no winter storms! I like the reflective tape sown in, I see this reflected back to me at night when I go with the flashlight, it's good to know these are there protecting my outdoor faucets! Great product!

Velcro holds cover on snug. Easy to install, no rubber to dry out and break. Easy to take off. Insulation appears adequate.

Quick and easy to put on, seems WAY more durable than the styrofoam kind we used to use. I was able to get it snug against the siding. Works for me!

I live in the high desert of New Mexico and in the winter it typically goes down in the 20's at night. I wanted a cover like this to ensure I would not have to worry about freezing pipes. I am very happy with these covers. They come in a set of 2 so they are good if you have more than 1 spicket, or if you are like me I have a spare. That will come in handy because at 6000+ feet elevation the sun can be very damaging. These are well made and are very soft and thick, almost like a quality sleeping bag. Super easy to install, just open the strap, slide it on, and tighten. Since I installed we have had several days of 50+MPH winds and this held perfectly. Highly recommend this product!

I had freeze issues with a outdoor faucet last year. We had a hard freeze and I tried wrapping it some foam I had lying around. It didn't work and the pipe crack. This year, I purchased a pair of outdoor faucet covers for winter freeze protection. These are a must-have for safeguarding outdoor spigots during cold months.
