It is advertised as having a 1" shank. It is not. It is 25mm and will not fit in a 1" tool holder.

Extremely disappointed! This tool is basically a long face mill. If you mill a slot or side mill your work will have a tapered cut, 3-5 degrees. The replaceable insert is not mounted square or 90 degrees to the face as stated in the description. Not only did I waste money on this tool but also on a package of 10 replaceable inserts as I thought I would get a lot of use out of this tool. Can’t return so at some point I will shorten the tool to about 3 in so it will be rigid as possible to be used as a small face mill. Because of the taper cut maximum depth of cut is about .020in. The body is soft steel and machines very easy.

I like the stout and sturdy long reach. Just be aware it's 25mm(.984") and not 1". You will need an adapter like the one I have in the photo. It would be nice to have a reduced shank to fit a collet. It perform well and uses a popular insert. I think it is of good quality.

The end mill appears square and the inserts are sharp. Everything seems good when compared to the specs. I haven't had any issues with mine. It''s a decent value, I'd recommend it to someone who needs one. Not much else to say because I haven't used it very much at all, but I don't foresee any problems with it.

Excellent tool, well balanced, and stiff enough to handle substantial cuts.
