Works perfectly for a Cajon kit, can’t easily get a double bounce on it, but that’s the expected from the design. Makes a great tone and is durable and well-made.

I don’t like the lack of tension on the pedal itself. It is somewhat awkward to get use to. Still searching for something different!

has a good loud sound and is able to accommodate most sizes but unfortunately has a tendency to slide from the base grip during plays

I love this product and I want to get it. However, it’s not allowed me to buy because it’s expensive for me. Hopefully I will get it soon but I don’t know when 😊Currently I have tried my best to do another one by myself for servicing at the church ⛪️ every Saturday evening.

This cajon kick pedal was exactly what I was looking for. I am a guitarist/singer, and I wanted to add some percussion to my act. This pedal was super easy to attach to my cajon, and the sound it produces is perfect. I'm super happy with this purchase!

The good:- It is a direct drive, meaning you will never have to worry about a broken cable. Much more reliable. Is really the best (simplest) direct drive out there.- It is ridiculously adjustable. The head position to get it flat against the drum, the head height to get it centered, the chain height to get the action you are looking for, etc. Surprisingly adjustable.- Comes with a bag....granted kinda a cheap bag (no padding) but much better than no bag. And you could use it for cables, if not for this pedal.- Looks cool, or at least not strange like the Meinl direct drive.- Quite responsive. While you can get some better action using your toe, even some double-bass like sounds, it is more awkward this way. It is really made for heel use, which although you can't get quite as fast, is the only way I can really play a guitar and a bass drum at the same time anyway.- Very inexpensive compared to other cajon pedals. The Bad:- The action will never be as good as a real pedal, it's just a tradeoff.- This can only mount one way, though if you have a few simple tools you can make this a righty or lefty. With a pedal/cable (as opposed to this direct drive) you can truly put the pedal anywhere.- No directions...not that assembly or adjustment was hard, but some directions would have been nice.I ended up putting the pedal inside my cajon, and drilled a slot for the arm...well, 'cause I'm a bit of a maniac. But also because I didn't want to carry many bags for the cajon, with everything else connected like an octopus. This may not be the best option at any price, but this is one of the lowest priced pedals and will work and work and work. Adding the many adjustment options made this an easy 5 stars.

I really love this cajon pedal. Searched high & low trying to figure out which one to buy. I like this because it doesn't use a cable that breaks. It uses chain. I use my heal to kick the pedal which is more intuitive for me. It does take up a lot of room on the drum face, so I move the beater just off center to allow me to still play the base hit with my hand as well. I think the soft flat padded beater makes a nice sound. The metal bar that you heal kick with is a little hard to get used to playing, it is a little skinny but it is a slim design which stows away nicely. I recently played a gig for 5 hours and it held up just fine and didn't move. It will take a little getting used to but overall I am happy!
