Nice quality beater rods with durable finish and nylock fasteners. Felts are hard and seem of good quality but I used a different felt on mine. Rod diameter is 6 mm and length to bottom of felt is 15 cm. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Cheap. Lightweight. Heads spin. Nut does not tighten enough to keep the head from turning..Rods slip down...too skinny. Not for serious drummers who want a good thump out of their kick. "Might" be ok for a back up pair..might.lol

OK; the first thing that got me was the price-very inexpensive AND you get 2! I bought the White Felt version and I think they're very good. I use a multitude of beaters ("fluffy wool", flat wood, flat felt, round wood and round old school "felt covered"). These are 100% solid, hard, felt. Like a super dense cymbal felt. I can say that the pair I got was perfectly aligned and I had NO problem fitting the shaft into my Tama pedal. For my style, they produce a punchy attack with a slightly higher pitch delvered than the felt on a 2-sided plastic/felt or from a hard flat plastic or flat wood beater. My only complaint? While I'm writing this, the price went down again! You really can't go wrong with free Prime shipping and 2 for less than ten bucks, and these are definitely good for my home studio and are staying in the mix!

At this price you can’t expect these to be heavy duty or match name brand specs. But they seem to work fine as lighter weight replacements. But if you’re a hard or heavy metal player with your feet, yeah, you should probably buy a name brand with a slightly heavier rod.
