I've used every type of corkscrew in the world, including a certain all-chrome 2 step wine key that's been touted as the best ever. This one is my favorite. I had one of these for years and the handle broke at the foil cutter end.I just ordered this replacement and it's the same quality as my old one.The corkscrew is easy to center in the cork and goes in smoothly. It pulls out the Cork in one smooth move.Easy peasy.

Even though this product appears the same as other similar corkscrews, it is not the same. It is very difficult to open wine because it is NOT a 2 step wine key. I see that now that I closely look at the picture. It is hard to use and I have actually pulled it from our serving tools at my restaurant. We no longer use it. It was a waste of money.

I always order these! They're the best! (I like the two step ones too!)

I ordered this for a trip to Europe because, as I was advised, it doesn't have a blade to cut the foil so it would pass security for carry on luggage. I am a one-bag, carry on enthusiast and love wine so this was my one luxury item for this trip. My only negative is this is not a two-step, so it is a little more difficult to properly use, but it did work well for me on the trip. The foil is cut with 4 rollers so it doesn't have a blade and is travel friendly. One tip if you are traveling as I was: remove this from your bag with your liquids which allows security to inspect it and see that it doesn't have a traditional blade. I learned this on my first pass through which cause me to get a bag check, hand swab & pat down. Security personnel advised me after the fact that taking it out in advance would have prevented this as they can't tell that it doesn't have a blade through the x-ray process. I followed their advise for the remainder of the trip including 2 more international flights and had no issues.

This waiter corkscrew is better than I imagined. The built in foil cutter comes in very handy and it's quick to use.

As a busy bartender, I don't have time to fiddle with the foil on wine bottles...especially during cocktail hour. Can't be without this thing.
