  • Position the second boot lever on the lip of the bottle and pull the cork out
  • Non-stick coated open spiral worm easily pierces cork
  • Retractable serrated knife effortlessly cuts through foil

  • Two-step design minimizes messes

This two-step Franmara 3166 Murano waiter's corkscrew with a translucent red handle is perfect for restaurants, wineries, and catered events. The compact handle gives it a solid feel in the waiter's hand while the soft-touch underbelly ensures a safe, stable grip. A built-in serrated blade knife effortlessly cuts through foil, while a non-stick open spiral worm is designed to cut into the cork for rapid service of your most popular wines. This corkscrew's two boot levers open bottles with ease as they hinge on the same rivet for maximum accessibility. For even more versatility, a built-in bottle cap opener makes it the only piece your staff will need to carry! This Murano waiter's corkscrew makes the ideal addition to your upscale wine service. To use, start by cutting the foil under the lip of the bottle using the retractable serrated knife. Remove the foil and retract the knife. Then insert the worm into the cork and turn to secure the corkscrew. Place the first, smaller boot lever on the lip of the bottle, hold it in place, and lever the handle to pull the cork about halfway out of the bottle. Move the second boot lever to the lip of the bottle and pull the cork the remainder of the way out.

One of the best folding bottle openers i know. Received my first while serving in a 5-star restaurant, while attending college in the '70s. Have worn out a couple, gifted a few and will have on at my table for as long as I am able to lift my glass. Purchased my last one, after a guest commented about a desire to get one of their own (she took my 8 yo one from Germany). Never expensive, always the best quality, and virtually indestructible. Try one for yourself.

I open about 50 bottles a week and was looking for an economic, but practical wine key. The knife is sharp and has the knob on the back that allows single hand opening. The corkscrew is quiet and quick. The double hing works well. Over all a good corkscrew

My wife hasn’t liked using manual corkscrews like this and would lug out a “rabbit” corkscrew that is about 10 times bigger with lever and gears. That needs oiling or something and I hate getting and using it, so when our old hand corkscrew broke, I looked at a few review websites and settled on the Murano- weave now had for about 2 months and I think it’s great and even my wife uses It over the”rabbit”. Great product at a very reasonable price

This is an excellent wine key for a very affordable price. I really like the way the hinge moves. Lightweight.

I'm a waitress at a high-end restaurant. Wine service is a daily party of my job. Murano wine keys were recommended to me by our sommelier. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the price listed on Amazon. This is a great wine key with a lot of functionality, especially the non-stick corkscrew and curved blade.

Great corkscrew. I have a couple of versions of this model, they are all good. Just be sure you get the double hinged ones. You'll thank me later. Most of the waiter style corkscrews have a small (sometimes serrated) knife blade to cut the foil. This is fine (I personally use a Screwpull dedicated foil cutter) but don't take it to the airport, it may be considered a knife (a no-no). There are corkscrews of this style that do not have a blade, like the Boomerang.
