I purchased this lid to replace another ORCA lid which the whale tale broke off of, preventing me from securing the to. So glad that I found this item. It fits perfectly.

The product dimensions lead you to believe the lid will fit the ORCA handle cup. Not so, ordered lids two different times and both times the lid is to small. I was careful to check dimensions of the lid. Be careful ordering a lid for ORCA cups. Common problem.

having the original lid with no tail cap just a hole, I figured after it wore so much and got scratchy looking from 10 years of dish washer, I'd order this one and rip the tail bit off.NOPE. love it. keeps water colder longer, and keeps the dust out. of course. doesn't look as dorky as in person as in the pic. my big concern was usage, namely flipping it back to drink -- it actually stays back! for one, it has a groove to snap into where it will stay back even if you shake it around trying to make it flop back, however snapping it into that groove isn't even necessary. I've had used these for 6 months or so and the tail bit still stays back when turning up to chug even though I don't snap it into the groove 90% of the time, because I'm just going to close it up again.

Looked/felt like a high-quality product. Didn't fit my older ORCA Chaser Café, unfortunately. (Too small of diameter.)

Bought this on a whim to replace the generic lid that came with my Orca tumbler. Have not regretted it. I use this for water every day and also for when I have alcoholic beverages on the weekends (fairly air tight so reduces spills when you or your friends accidentally knock it over) Both seals are tight, durable seals and it has a tight fit on the cup to prevent leaks. The "flip" part snaps into place for both the open and closed positions, so it won't fly open or hit you in the face while taking a drink. The hole for drinking is just the right width to fit a smoothie straw if you're a straw person. Have gotten these for family members upon request after they have seen mine andnwanted one for themselves.
