Open Faced Pizza Oven for Grill works well. The concept is fairly easy place it on top of your outdoor grill turn on your burners and allow it to heat up. Temperature got up to about 500 in 10-15 minutes and pizzas cooked fairly quickly. Assembly of the actual oven were lacking and quality was overall ok.

I was very excited to order and try out this portable pizza oven for my grill. Once assembled, the product actually works surprisingly well. I simply set it on my gas grill for about 15 minutes to heat up, and it resulted in fantastic homemade pizza! The real problem with the product is that it doesn't include any instructions, and assembling it was extremely difficult. The included brackets are near impossible to attach to the bottom of the oven, so I just decided to not use them at all. I then realized there's no easy way to insert or remove the pizza stone. I ended up having to unscrew the bottom pieces of metal in order to get the pizza stone to fit inside properly, and I can't imagine having to do that again if I ever want to clean the stone. This alone unfortunately makes the product hard to recommend, but if you can look past this then you have a pretty solid oven to bake your pizzas via your grill or burner.

Does it work? Absolutely. The small enclosure contains the heat well and cooks the pizza evenly on top and bottom. It comes with no instructions, and I found you have to remove one of the bottom braces to get the pizza stone seated properly inside, as it will not fit through the front. The temperature gauge is not secured in place and kind of flops around. The "legs" are just triangle sheet metal that stay in place via tension, but they constantly fell off, so I discarded them. With the legs removed, it fits just right on the grates and allowed the oven to fit perfectly under the warming rack. I was able to get the stone up to 572 degrees running 3 of the 4 burners, which took about 15 minutes. Makes a good pizza. Whether it's better than one just cooked on the stone or with the enclosure is debatable. I would say the pizza peel is the highlight of this oven set. Very large, stainless steel, with a nice aluminum handle. As I said in the title, it's good, not great. I rate it a 3/5 on build quality, mainly, but I think it's somewhat overpriced for what you get. Love the peel, though!

So don't buy this if you are thinking you'll get a true pizza oven experience. There is no fire, and no actual heat source that cooks the pizza from above. But it does concentrate the heat inside of it and the stone helps to cook the dough faster.It was very confusing to put together but with enough time, I was able to make it work. It would be interesting to see the difference of cooking a pizza inside this versus just on a stone inside your BBQ. I give it 3 out of 5 stars because the materials could be a little more solid and instructions helpful.

I love being able to cook pizza on the grill and the taste and texture it delivers! This is a great way to do that! Cooking on the pizza stone delivers an even distribution of heat and terrific crust, and the pizza peel makes it easy to remove the pizza and start eating all the pizza goodness! I am satisfied with the quality and functionality of this pizza grill!

I tried it today for the first time. The pizza came out excellent and perfectly cooked. I was shocked by the outcome. The pizza was thoroughly cooked and delicious. The heat is very high, and you must constantly check what you are cooking. You can take it anywhere you have a grill. I highly recommend it!

I used for the first time on my gas grill. It's well made and sturdy. It cooked the pizza awesomely.I'd give 5 stars, though it does not come with any instructions. Especially how to take care of the stone. Nothing a Google search couldn't fix.It opens up a whole new experience with pizza making, I'm pretty impressed. There are definitely some tricks and skills to learn how to make the perfect pizza. I've always wanted to try stone oven pizza, but never had the opportunity because ovens can get expensive. This one did great. I have a lot to learn, but this oven did it' job super well.Two thumbs up.
