This fit my Weber 18” kettle loose on the bottom but tight on top.But it worked just fine, my chicken didn’t walk away….. this would be great for any occasion .

My best friend is literally a grill master. He says the product is very nice, very well built ,made from good steel. The unit has a very long nice cord .It is a good fit for the Weber grill . Good $$$

I did not have high expectations and anticipated this thing to break after couple of uses, but here we are year and some months later so perhaps time to drop a positive review. I've grilled about dozen chickens and one lamb roast using this attachment with my 18" Weber kettle.Trussing and positioning your roast takes some practice - not specifically with this rotisserie, but in general. In addition to the spit this has 6 small parts you have to keep track of and not allow screws get lost in your garbage disposal. If I had to say something negative, it would be that the hole for the spit inside the machine is not quite deep enough and I find that I have to re-adjust the spit to fit deeper while cooking. It hasn't ever slipped out, though. I've no regrets about purchasing this and I've learned to cook chicken with such variety of seasonings; each roast better than the last.

With the kids grown and gone, we have a little more time on our hands and bought this to compliment a Weber Jumbo Joe. It's fantastic... The motor is quiet and strong... The skewer rod and forks are substantial, easy to clean and hold the meat firmly in place. Rotisserie chicken at the grocery store is convenient, but nothing can compare to the taste of chicken cooked over charcoal... I expect this will last a long time and will buy another for sure...

I hadn't considered a rotisserie for my Jumbo Joe until I saw the price for this product. I was a bit skeptical of the quality because of the price differential, but upon opening the box, my fears were allayed. The rotisserie ring is very sturdy and I like that the spit rod separates into two pieces so that I can store it inside the grill. The motor is heavy with a protective casing and it is very quiet. The extra-long power cord is also a big plus as I don't like a plug hanging anywhere close to the hot grill. Unlike the unit that I have on my large Weber kettle grill, there isn't much of a gap between the ring and the exterior of the grill so heat loss is minimal. It is also nice that the prongs have four tines instead of two, making it easier to secure a chicken, roast or whatever. Admittedly, I prefer to rotisserie smaller cuts of meat so I was able to locate a basket that would fit inside the Jumbo Joe. For me, this purchase ensures that the Jumbo Joe will almost replace my larger Weber as my 'go to' grill. For the price and the quality of construction, this purchase was a no-brainer. Buy it; you won't be disappointed!

THis item is clearly advertized as fitting on the weber WSM 18.5 It absolutely does not fit. It is designed for a 18 inch kettle and may be fine there but do no purchace if you have the 18.5 wsm it is not only the wrong diameter, the design of how it sits on the grill does not engate the grill lid properly. it fits a little better upside down but that makes it untenable to operate the spit. I am returning. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A CORRECT DESIGN DEVICE FOR THE 18.5 WSM????
