It looks like the horn button had been damaged and cosmetically repaired. You can see what looks like a cut and the surface repaired and colored around it. On the underside a coating was peeling off.

Replaced a horn button that disintegrated when I pulled it to replace the turn signal switch on my 1993 YJ. Popped right on, no issues with fit or looseness. Well worth the money.

Slots in button will not go over spokes on factory cj5 steering wheel. I have opened package so I'm going to open the slots to fit steering wheel..

Was worried at first it wasn't the right button or would fit on my crusty ole steering wheel. But after a little tweaking of the bent up horn cup it sits on the wheel and works just fine. As you can see I've added a little accent to the center of the button. In all it worked out great on my '77 CJ5.
