This is a good unit, well designed and manufactured. I’m using it to operate an awning-type window and appreciate that it has a stainless steel chain that won’t rust.This unit does not allow you to adjust the max travel distance - it opens the full 500 mm. When I talked to the company about how to shorten the travel for my application, they said it’s not adjustable, but then offered to replace my unit with a shorter-travel unit - which is surprisingly generous customer service! They have a committed customer in me now!

Used this on an Anderson 48X48 skylight. Andersen no longer makes parts for their skylights, or make skylights at all. This worked great! Operates great! Would have gave it 5 stars but the mount was a little weird. Brackets sticking out. I altered these to what I needed.
