Wow this product has seriously gone downhill. I've used them for years and years without any issues, but lately they all seem to be made wrong. Water doesn't come out of them! I've had to order a new brand and in the meantime my gerbils are getting extra veg and fruit to supply moisture. Manufacturer should be ashamed of themselves putting out such a shoddy product.Seriously, don't buy these. Or if you do keep an eagle eye on them and check several times a day that they're actually dispensing water, and have a backup plan. Don't risk your little critters going thirsty.

Those of you who are having trouble with the cheap hanger this comes with, just buy the water bottle guard that is specially made for this water bottle. You can buy the set that comes with both.

This is the only bottle I use for my small animals. It never leaks and is pretty sturdy.

This product gives you exactly what you pay for, it does technically function as a water bottle, but I was very disappointed in how poorly the attachment hook performs (the bottle hangs too loose outside the cage and swivels when my hedgehog drinks). Be prepared to get whatever color you get; I was under the impression that I'd ordered a white bottle, but opened the box to find a red one. This will do as a backup, but I'll definitely be purchasing a new one promptly.

I bought this bottle recently to replace one of the same kind that finally broke after about 10 years' use by 4 different hamsters. I ended up using the sipper piece from the old bottle with the water reservoir from the new bottle, as I could hardly get any water out when using both new pieces. It works perfectly now. Maybe the seal was just too good on the new sipper? I would have given this bottle 5 stars if not for that issue. I love the small size, and the first one proved very durable. I also have a larger version of this bottle that has been around longer than my old small one and is still going strong. The only time these bottles have really dripped is when the cage is moved/jostled, such as when I have to carry it to the next room for cleaning. I would definitely recommend this product.

Works well, much better than the cheapo one pet cages come with. No leaks, fills up easily enough that my 6 (now 7) year old does it himself. Doesn't have the greatest hanging system in the world, just a simple piece of hardened steel wire but it's adaptable enough for any cage with wire sides.

This is the best small animal bottle I have tried- and for two reasons. One, and this is IMPORTANT- your animal can actually drink from it! Others I have tried either are "leak-proof" and barely dispense any water, if at all, or they leak. This does neither! It doesn't leak but at the same time when you run your finger over the tip/ball you can easily feel water coming out. Also, it is smaller than some of the water bottles out there, which we prefer for our small hamster. We empty and refill it every couple of days, only to maybe halfway. The opening is small but it can still be cleaned out with a bottle brush and taking a paper towel, kind of rolling it up, and stuffing it in there to dry it out and wipe out any slime that tends to form where water sits for a long time. Overall we are very happy with it and trust us, we've used several different types of bottles!

This water bottle worked well and didn't have any dripping problem. The only problems i had was with the rounded design, the hanger didn't stay easily on it. Also there is a small white ball that floats inside to let you know when the water level is low and it needs to be larger as it falls out into the sink and almost down the drain easily when you change out the water.

I have ordered this water bottle after I have purchased two 8 oz bottles of the same brand and really liked them. I needed a smaller one that I could attach to the carrier. It has absolutely perfect water flow and does not clog, ever. It came in my favorite teal color.These bottles are flowers patterned, full in one color with a metal pipe. They are the most pretty water bottles I have seen and also high quality ones. I totally recommend them.
