I don't think I want to try these on tool steel or other steels, but softer materials like plastic are what you'd want to use them for. They worked great for that application. Just be careful to have a high rpm and lower feed rate as these are small and can break if put too much load is placed on them.Otherwise they are great endmills.

I'm used to spending a whole lot more on my endmills but these cut through aluminum like it's butter. They make a nice clean cut for a roughing strategy so I'm very happy with the results. No gumming up or sticking of aluminum with the single flute cutter design.
