I have several batteries between those who came with the radios and spare. Most weigh 87 grams. But a couple don't have Baofeng molded into the plastic and only weigh 57 grams. For sure the light ones are missing capacity.

Like the simplicity of re-charging with a USB-C connection, allows more versatility. Nice when I can upgrade batteries for older radios.

Not too sure if this a genuine Baofeng item or not. Also not too sure about it being 2800 mah. It clips on the radio but does NOT lock on very tight. Will come off too easily. Charges fine, but does NOT seem to last as long as I thought it would. Hence my questioning the 2800 mah label? The original (long battery) that came with my radio is 3800 mah but it lasts more than twice as long.Still, it is compact and does work for my needs, at a reasonable price.

theres nothing to dislike with the product as long as it fits the right radio and works as it should per specs. the seller though is very slow in shippingand or fullfilment. the battery is same model, BL-8 but is a newer version than the original ( i ordered the original version ) but it fits and it works soeverything is good.

Proper fitting, this battery connects and disconnects securely as you would expect.Because it is new, I have no comment on longevity or discharge rate.
