So far I love these.I'm not using them as they're intended for Soccer.I do stagehand work & video / film production.Especially when I'm doing stagehand work I'm pushing large cases around.I am constantly banging my shines.I'm still fighting a big open wound from several months ago that I had to see my doctor and a wound specialist for. That's why I ordered these.I love that these are a sleeve with a hard slide in shell. My biggest concerns were that they'd slide down, stretch, or I'd rip themSo far they haven't slid down and they're so comfortable to wear that I don't realize they are there.I've only had them 2 months so I can't honestly say how they might hold up with time as far as stretching or ripping. The sleeve seems to be well made so I have high hopes. The shell itself give good coverage around the front of my shins where I constantly bruise myself. The back side of the hard shell has some rubber to isolate it from your shin upon impact.Their is a specific right & left shell which seems to better protect your legs. The first time I put them on I didn't pay attention to that and I definitely notice better coverage doing it right. The sleeve goes on and off easy enough.I try to keep the sleeve to the front putting on but I usually have to make a slight adjustment which is easy.As a bicyclist I have leg and arm wind sleeve for colder days. The material of these seems to be similar to those. I would guess the material is also close to the woman's tights.I was really debating between all the choices on Amazon.Definitely way to many. For Soccer some might offer some better protection being larger.Others were like these but had velcro fasteners.I wanted a set that easily fit under my pants without making bulges, wouldn't slip as I was afraid straps would, even with velcro if they slid down as your leg tapers.Again, these are extremely comfortable and many of the others don't look like they would be.Normally I don't give 5 star as I feel to many are not real. Personally I put more faith in the 4 star.At this point I feel these deserve 5 star unless they later stretch to the point that they don't stay in place,If that happens I may be able to modify this later.Again, for soccer, I can't honestly say how they protect against others. For comfort these are great and look like they would be better than any of the others I was looking atIf you're like me and looking for work or yard protection - definitely consider theseIf you find others for soccer to be uncomfortable, definitely try these.

Daughter and son both use these, fit was good and while I bought them for strength the kids said they were light weight and comfortable.

We loved these so much for my son, we bought another pair when his little brother started soccer as well. These are so easy to use. They fit well with a comfortable amount of stretch. My oldest has been using them over a year in soccer and I can't even tell the new pair from the old pair. Highly recommend for little kids soccer.

My 7 year old plays soccer (two seasons a year for 3 years now, so we go thru a lot of soccer gear!) and she absolutely loves these! These shin guards are light weight and very sturdy and stay in place great! They are also much more comfortable that the Velcro strap kind when being worn against bare skin (with shorts.)Before this we used the kind with the ankle strap that slid on over her socks and had the Velcro straps for around the calf of the leg. Those did the job, but with her being on the smaller side they’d often shift around and twist up on her while running or the straps would pop loose and come undone during games. These are a definite step up!The fabric part slides right on over her soccer socks. I used the sizing chart in the listing and the fit is perfect for her. The material is breathable and washable! Once you slide the material part into place, you just slip the insert into the little pocket (left and right are clearly marked on the front so it is easy to see if they are on the right side) and the fabric folds shut to hold the insert in place during games and practices! They don’t climb up the leg, they don’t rotate around her leg, they stay put really well! She wore shorts and left her socks tall with the shin guard over the top of the sock, but the soft mesh like material is breathable so it should be comfortable if worn against the skin. After a muddy practice, I removed the insert and hand washed them in the sink and slipped them over a clothes hanger to air dry. But I did machine wash them when they first arrived them in the mail (my child has sensitive skin) and they held up perfectly! (Air dried, did not put them in the dryer. But they were completely dry in about 40 min.)The price isn’t bad either! And they arrived in just a couple of days, exactly when they were supposed to arrive!

I recently purchased these Shin Guards for my som’s soccer games, and overall, they have been a solid addition to my gear. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with them:Ease of Use:One of the standout features of the Shin Guards is how incredibly easy they are to put on and take off. The adjustable straps and lightweight design allow me to slip them on in seconds, which is a huge plus when I’m in a hurry or right before a game. I appreciate not having to fumble with complicated buckles or clips, making my pre-game routine much smoother.Comfort:In terms of comfort, these shin guards are fantastic. The padding is soft yet protective, and they mold nicely to my legs without feeling bulky. I’ve worn them for extended practice sessions without any discomfort or irritation. The breathable material also helps keep my legs cool, which is essential during those intense drills.Easy to Clean:Cleaning the Shin Guards is a breeze! After a muddy game, I simply wipe them down with a damp cloth, and they look as good as new. The material doesn’t absorb odors, which is a huge relief, especially after a long day of practice.Performance Issue:While I’m generally pleased with the performance, there is one slight issue I’ve encountered. During running drills, I’ve noticed that the shin guards can shift a bit out of place. They don’t seem to stay as securely positioned as I would like, which can be a distraction when I’m focused on the game. A more secure fastening system or additional grip could improve this aspect significantly.
