Spun aluminum construction provides clean sharp edges and is suitable for use with most 5- and 6-inch recessed housings. Deep recoil optics and round aperture offer uniform, glare-free illumination. Reflector: One-piece, spun aluminum construction dissipates heat and extends life. Unified thermal management, UTM, provides exceptional, cool performance. Housings: Compatible with most 5" and 6" IC and non-IC housings by Nora and others. Mounting: Two steel torsion mounting springs allow for easy and secure mounting to most 5" and 6" housings. Retrofit: The Onyx retrofit series includes a mid-base screw socket adapter (NRA-211SM) to fit existing mid-base downlight housings. GU24 socket adapter is available for use with GU24 housings, you must specify NRA-212SM.

I already had them installed in the office by the previous tenant. The bulb went out in the old one so I had to replace the whole thing. I'd say that's the only downside. They give off a pretty good amount of light and work as described.

It was a like for like light fixture so install took less than a minute. It is the easiest way to convert a recessed can light fixture into a LED fixture
