I didn’t realize these would be metal, so I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these feel. It was super easy to put and they are the perfect size. I didn’t nail it in so that I could adjust it after the light went up and the light holds it in place. Does the job!

I ordered the LUXRITE 4 Pack White Goof Trim Ring for 4 Inch Recessed Lights and Ceiling Light Fixtures, Outer Diameter 5.75 Inches, Inner Diameter 4.25 Inches, Metal Construction, Cover Damaged or Messy Ceilings. It is June 26, 2023. Let's see if it passes The Final Test!I got these to cover up a hacksaw job done by a contractor when they put in an electrical box.As noted, they're metal and not plastic. I know a lot of people give the plastic ones a lot of grief, but here's one thing. The metal ones bend. Once they bend, they're not flat anymore and they don't go back to being flat on their own. Plastic ones will stay flat even after you manipulate them.Since the light fixture was already up, I cut the ring using a pair of tin snips, and used that to go around the wires and hardware so I didn't have to take everything down and put it back up.All in all, looks good, does what it claims to.$$) Overall, $20 for a 4 pack causes me some heartburn. Each ring is $5. Ugh. But hey, it's worth not having to try to fix drywall.This item earned a C for Meeting Expectations

We are replacing the 1980s recessed lighting throughout our house and the holes are too big for the newer lights. These fit nicely so that there isn't a visible gap between the light and ceiling now.

I received a 4 pack of white goof trim rings for 4 inch recessed lights and ceiling light fixtures. These rings have an outer diameter of 5.75 inches and inner diameter of 4.25 inches. They are made of metal, which feels sturdy and durable. The rings cover up damaged or messy ceilings very well, hiding any unsightly distractions. The installation was easy, as they simply snap onto the light fixture. They provide a clean and professional look to my ceiling. Overall, I am very satisfied with these trim rings and would recommend them to anyone in need of a quick and easy ceiling fix.

These goof rings are easy to install and position around the light fixture. Once in position, they present an attractive, finished appearance. An effective time saver.

After goofing up on a couple of 4" eave light installations, I was able to go back and pull the fixtures and install the trim rings to dress out the mistakes. Worked very well and looks much better.
