1

Award-winning performance

Bundled with Noctua’s premium-grade CPU coolers since 2007, NT-H1 has proven its excellent performance in countless of tests and reviews. Chosen again and again by overclockers and hardware enthusiast around the globe, it has established itself as a benchmark for premium-quality thermal interface materials (TIMs).

NT clean

Easy to clean

NT-H1 is one of the easiest to clean thermal compounds on the market: Simply wipe it off the CPU and heatsink with a dry tissue or paper towel, then wipe them clean with a moist tissue or towel. No cleaning alcohol or solvent required!

Non-conductive

Not electrically conductive, non-corroding

While some high-end thermal compounds and pads are risky to use due to their electrical conductivity or corroding properties, there’s no risk of short-circuits with NT-H1 and it’s completely safe to use with any type of CPU cooler, regardless of whether it’s made from copper or aluminium and whether it’s nickel-plated or not.

Excellent long-term stability

Excellent long-term stability

NT-H1's unique formula is highly stable over time, even after longer periods of usage. It can be stored at room temperature for at least 3 years and due to the compound’s exceptional curing, bleeding, dry-out and thermal cycling characteristics, it can be used on the CPU for 5 years or more.

NT-H1 3.5g scope

3.5g package for 3-20 applications 3.5g package for 3-20 applications

Sufficient for around 3-20 applications (depending on the size of the CPU or GPU, e.g. around 3 applications for large CPUs such as TR4 and around 20 for small CPUs such as LGA1151), the classic 3.5g packaging size is ideal for most users who only install coolers every now and then.

1

Easy to apply

Thanks to its excellent spreading properties, there is no need to manually spread NT-H1 before installing the cooler: Simply apply some paste onto the CPU (see instructions for details), put on the heatsink and you’re ready to go!

Noctua is a real hero for making this mounting kit. I bought this mounting kit to replace a suspicious aio with an old noctua nh-d15 I had lying around to go on an lga1700 motherboard. And it fits like a glove. Also bought some of noctuas thermal paste. I can’t say enough about how good that paste is. I’ve tried a lot of dif brands and this one is reliable. It never dries out and I get good temps. No complaints. On a side note if you buy this mounting kit do make sure that you use their backing plate included in the kit. If you don’t it may not tighten down all the way because the threads in the thumbscrews most likely aren’t deep enough to fully tighten down on your old backing plate. And it will probably be a bit loose. That was the case with mine and im glad caught that right away. I was just too lazy to take the rear panel off the case and fish it out. With that said this kit will work on an lga1700 motherboard.

I used this paste to install 3 CPU's and redo the paste on a graphics card. The paste spreads out very nice on the chips, so do not use more than necessary. I seen a reduction in CPU temps. and GPU temps using this thermal compound. I highly recommend Noctua NT-H1thermal paste, it will be the only one I will use from now on.

UPDATE: Used it to re-paste my old laptop. Considering it gives out more heat now during load operations, I'm assuming it's working great. But then again, my laptop is more than a decade old so....yeah.Summer temperatures update:Alright. Summers are here in full effect. Ambient temperatures here in Dehradun are around 38° C average. Nowadays, the idle temperatures range between 50° to 55° C. Under full load when stress testing, maximum obtained temperatures were always around 80° to 82° C. When rendering videos in both Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, it averages around 75° to 80°C. And during gaming, temperatures never go past 72° C. Yeah....the temperatures have risen considerably now, compared to winters and spring, however I'm just using a budget air cooler, so it is still decent. Also, it's still better than what I used to get with the stock cooler and paste (+95° C on full load and +82° C when gaming). Also, my only exhaust fan died too, so there's that as well. I'll be upgrading my cooler, fans and maybe cabinet too, sooner or later, so maybe I'll post a third temperatures update here. This thermal paste lives up to its name. I personally used it for repasting my desktop. The processor is AMD Ryzen 5 3600, paired with a Cooler Master Hyper H410R RGB CPU Cooler. Even in the heaviest benchmark loads, temperatures never crossed 69° C (nice 😀). On idle, I get around between 30° to 40° C and between 55° to 63° C at the most when gaming. These are winter season temperatures, by the way. I'll update the summer season temperatures too.As for applying the thermal paste, it might get a little difficult first time, so I'd recommend watching some good application tutorials. The paste, in good conditions, is neither too liquidy nor too solid. Simply put, make sure to clean off the old thermal paste using +90% isopropyl alcohol, then just apply a dot of the thermal paste in the middle of your processor's TIM: around 2-3mm in diameter for Intel processors and around 4-5 mm in diameter for AMD processors, then mount your cooler. DON'T PUT TOO MUCH THERMAL PASTE. It's easy to get overboard.Don't be alarmed if the temperatures, immediately after repasting, aren't desirable or even higher than before. Thermal pastes have a specific cure-in time to spread and set properly, so continue using your PC as normal and the temperatures should normalise eventually; considering if you were sure the paste was in good condition and you didn't mess up both repasting and cooler mounting procedures. In my opinion, it's worth the Rs. 617 I paid for.

I’m og . I’ve religiously used artic silver 5 despite knowing That there are much better pastes available. If you’re building a Lot of systems Just get this stuff Top notch consistency probably the best bang for buck I guess there’s a reason why Linus always has it laying around One thing I especially love is the way it re-seals I feel confident storing this piece and being able to use it far into the future even after being opened..My other favorite feature is the very easy to understand directions which to be honest just for fun I followed and it made a difference I put precisely the exact size dot they recommended for my socket. Are used a caliper to make sure it was the exact amount directions recommended guess what literally the most perfect pace application I think I’ve ever had which is nuts considering how often I’ve done it and the fact that this is a brand new paste I’ve never used beforeI think people overlook directions but they can honestly be handy especially when there is much larger CPUs now like ryzen and epic. It’s clear the Germans probably over engineered the directions . If u follow them to a T u will get a gorgeous application . Just keep a expensive caliper handy lol ...This will now be my go to thermal paste you can’t be the amount you get for the price the performance is probably the same as Arctic silver five if not better definitely way better than the cooler master gelTake thermal paste performance charts with a grain of salt because I bought a new were hyper to Saul Evo and it came with cooler master gel paste It has absolutely abysmal performance arctic ceramic two is better than the stuff like I can’t believe how bad this cooler master paste actually is. It’s hard to use and it performs terribly I don’t get who rank that up in I think Tom’s hardware thermal case chart I can say with personal experience cooler master pro jell is the worst I’ve ever used. There is a caveat the cooler master Is completely conductive free which works great if you delid and don’t have nail polish around to protect the smds.... so yea that’s about all the cooler master stuff is good for ...Good job noctua . Pls go help cooler master with their paste and their mounting system..... please. The hyper to 12 Evo truly is a legend it beats many aios there is a reason so many old timers swear by that cooler ..

I used this on my 15" mid 2011 MacBook pro and the idle temp has decreased from +/- 78c down to around 64c. this was the first time I 'cracked the hood' on my MacBook so the heat sinks were also caked in dust. Otherwise the paste was a super easy application; no spreading required. I did a test run on their recommended size of 'dots' per CPU/GPU and the coverage was near perfect. Now I can browse the web in my lounge without sounding like I'm at the airport or feeling like I've got a hot water bottle on my lap.
