It says in the description that this is very heavy duty, it is not it is very flimsy and not up to the job, when you pull the strap to secure the battery, which by its general size is heavy, the whole tray twists and and moves even when I bolted it down in four separate places, when you get hold of the battery it's still loose and moves around,I would carry on looking

I am making my own battery box using a trailer box and needed a platform the batteries so they would not move in the box. These fit perfectly even though I am using them for G2 batteries not the Group 24 specified in the listing. However, I am using Costco batteries and don't know if all G2 batteries are the same.

This is a quality product and value foe money. I was searching for new battery trays and purchased this one , when it arrived I was quietly impressed. Reinforced ribbed tray and quality strap 👌Thanks guys ill be buying another one for my dual battery set up.

Tray seems fine, but the strap that came with it is garbage and not the same as the one in the product images. There is no way to tighten this strap down anywhere near secure and it broke in the process.I’m aware the tray will work with L-hook hold downs but I bought this with the intention of using the strap as it seemed previous reviews spoke highly of it.

Bought this as a replacement for the battery tray on my 1981 280ZX and it fits snugly and holds a group 24 battery perfectly. I will need to drill a drain hole in it and add a drain tube but that's a minor thing for my specific needs NOT a fault on the product.I personally decided to NOT use the included cloth strap to hold the battery in place and instead got a set of L-hook battery hold down bolts. The nice thing about this tray is that it has guides for battery hold down bolts.I am probably going to buy a couple more of these in the future.

I learned there are several different sizes of car and truck, RV, solar panel storage, riding mower, trolling boat, and golf cart (etc.) batteries.I knew this, buy just ordered what I thought was right size, without taking the actual time to measure before I clicked "Buy." Was in too much of a hurry to go outside to vehicle and actually measure my battery before I placed the order. I know, dingbat move. So, I got one in a bit too-big size. I will make it work, either by cutting it, repositioning and epoxy gluing the pieces to make it smaller, or more simply, just storing something zip-tied next to the battery (like maybe the excess coiled-up cable length, or charge controller). But the unit itself seems sturdy.
