The product was way better than expected. They are colour coded and have 48 pcs. 12 plants, 12 animals, 12 insects, 12 flowers. They are labeled with the name of the product showing on the slide. This is very educational for children as they can see what nature looks like up close.Usually in schools you see selected things, like onion peel, fly wing and a few other vegetables. You do not get to have this variety in school, so apart from what they experience in school I would say this is a must buy.

I got these to show off my new microscope with some interesting samples, and this is a neat assortment of plants and insects. Everything is well labeled with pictures and color coded by categories. You get a ton of variety for the price and I have no issues with quality as a hobbyist.

This is a nice collection of specimen to view under a microscope. However, some of the specimen are not nicely cut or too small. The set is still nice, especially because each slide has a title and image imprinted.
