Great product that does exactly what it's supposed to. Keeps the bottom of your hammock warm on cool night and helps keep the wind out as well.

Used this a lot last summer for floating down the river and camping over night. Very well constructed, light and easy to pack

It’s not for freezing weather, but it’s a must if you’re trying to sleep in a hammock on a high forties/low fifties night. Even when it’s warm out, this keeps the breeze off your backside. Worth every penny and easy to put up

This is for my sons hammock and its great. He said its almost too warm but very cozy. Because it is synthetic and not down it is a bit bulky but defiantly do able for back packing, For the price you can beat the comfort.

Purchased this for our son. He used it while camping for less than a year and it’s already tore up. He needs another one. Easy to set up. Comfortable and warm. Good size. I wouldn’t say it’s the best value for your money though.

Used at least 5 times over two years. Easy to setup and keeps me warm. Had used this with a 40 degree sleeping bag in 30 degree weather and kept warm.

I do not recommend this for temps below 50°. I do recommend warmer weather camping that you want a good airflow experience with. I wanted to really like this product. I bought it to go with the hammock set that it is advertised to pair with.I used this on 1 base camping trip and one backpacking trip. I found that the gaps between the hammock and underquilt allowed for too much airflow which resulted in me staying cold for a good portion of each night, regardless of me having proper clothing, sleeping bag, and down quilt gear.I took this on a Feb 2024 backpacking trip in Arkansas where the overnight lows (unexpectedly) got down to 13° F with a wind chill when a cold front swept through the area. The temps were reported to be a low of 28° prior to the trip. Due to the large gap between the hammock and underquilt, it allowed for too much airflow and inability to stay warm enough which resulted in mild hypothermia.Base camping experience- overnight lows were in the 50s with rain. It was still drafty, allowed too much airflow flow between hammock and underquilt.Reviews I read prior to purchase had several report that it was warm enough for cold weather camping.Easy to set up. Appearance and fabric quality are nice. Too heavy and bulky for backpacking.

Came damaged. Thought it was pretty good as an underquilt letting in just a little cold on the back but the compression sack strap was damaged when it arrived. Looks like a bite was taken out of it and we can’t use that strap without it ripping more.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet but it seems like good quality materials. I'll update my review after I use it

I’m currently using this for my camping hammock that I live out of because I’m homeless and surviving the housing crisis by stealth camping in the bush. We’re moving into winter now, and this under quilt is the difference between freezing and sleeping comfortably in warmth. If you use the two hand test (check out YouTube) for lining up the hammock with the under quilt, there are no colds spots. You do, however, have to give it a good 10 minutes to reflect your body heat back to you in order to keep you warm.I’m sleeping in 0 degrees Celsius this winter here in Melbourne, Australia. The housing crisis isn’t getting better, but this helps me a lot to stay warm while I stealth camp in my hammock across the nature reserves in Melbourne, Australia.

This is a great under hammock quilt for cool days. Is it an ultra premium quilt you may get from a “name brand” at somewhere like REI? No. But it will do the exact same job for a fraction of the price. It packs down light and small which is what I needed. I love that it comes with a quality stuff sack. It can also double as a regular quilt if you find yourself in a place where you can’t throw up a hammock which is great for people like me that travel on a motorcycle several months out of the year.Everything I carry on my trips needs to be light, durable, and serve at least 2 functions. This guy meets all those needs.I also have to mention the quality of service from this company. I first purchased a hammock from them about a year ago and to be honest it wasn’t quite as waterproof as I was hoping. I returned the hammock, just chalking it up to an inferior product by a lesser known company. No big deal, send it back and move on. I thought that would be the end of the story and I just wouldn’t purchase products from them again. Other than requesting to send the product back through Amazon, I never contacted the company.A few weeks later they contacted me directly via email asking what was wrong with the hammock and I explained that in heavy rain and humid environments, it didn’t keep me dry. They apologized and without asking send me a replacement 2 man tent. The tent they sent me has now replaced my Kelty. It keeps me super dry, it’s lighter than my Kelty and has more features and retails for less. I love that the tent poles fold smaller than the Kelty poles which makes it easier to pack on a motorcycle, and they are aluminum which saves over 1 pound in weight just in the tent poles alone. Overall the entire package is about a pound and a half lighter. It has kept me extremely dry in heavy wind and rain, even after heavy use in a wide range of temps and I’ve taken less than optimal care of it. So far it seems this under hammock quilt will hold up just as well. My experience with the tent as well as the under quilt makes me think that my negative experience with my original hammock purchase was just a manufacturing defect, which could happen with any outdoor equipment manufacturer. When you make thousands and thousands of an individual item, it’s bound to be that one or two don’t get the optimal waterproof treatment. Be it from Nightcat or North Face, things like that happen. My biggest compliment is, again, the service. I’ve returned products to REI that didn’t meet my needs. I’ve never gotten an email or replacement product from North Face or Kelty.I’d highly recommend this quilt and any product from Nightcat for the quality of the product and premium customer service. Can’t say enough good about them.
