I find this gear very much useful, because I have a terrible time sleeping on the ground. I’m not as young as I use to be. The hammock is everything the seller said it was good for. I recommend this product to anyone that wants a good night sleep.

pros: lightweight, compact, affordable, has a bug net and comes with most of what you would need.cons: if i were the one to assemble this kit i would include cinch buckles to be able to finetune the placement of the hammock but here you have to get them separatelycomes with the cheap L stakes so an upgrade would be useful at least for the tarpdepending on the weather conditions - a bigger tarp would be useful to avoid more of the wind and rain in some casessummary: i am actually pleasantly surprised about this hammock kit and i am well aware that this may be the best "bang for the buck" option out thereif there is a better one i am unaware of such an option that includes this much of what is needed

Stay cool on hot days with this very comfortable set up. Protection from bugs , rain or direct sunlight . Great for backpackingIntuitive setup . For night i recomend the hamock liner to keep comfortably warm .

This is a good little hammock. No issues. Might be too small for a larger person but I’m 5’4. Cozy, well made. Easier to set up than a tent. Wish the rain fly were a bit bigger but if you’re patient and do a lot of adjusting it does cover the hammock completely and does well in light rain.

Only drawbacks so far: rainfly gets in the way when you want it to be open and comfortable just to sit i stead of lay. And a little but of wright to it but not too heavy, especially considering everything in the kit seems well made.5 stars, happy with this purchase- nice option to use as a tent alone or light enough to carry around if a normal tent is preferred for sleeping

This kit is a great way to test the waters on hammock camping. I have a few high end camping hammocks and I picked up a couple of these so my kids could give it a go without investing $300+/setup that may never get used again. Is it as good as my better ones? No, but at the price point I was throughly impressed with no regrets. The fact that this comes with everything you really need to go camp with it besides your insulation is good. The main con I found was with the tree straps. They do suck due to very little adjustments and you pretty much need to find trees the PERFECT diameter and distance apart to get a good hang. If you go into this expecting to have to put out an other $25cad for better straps it’s still a good deal for a very good entry level setup
