This is lightweight hammock with a bug net built into it so it can be used to sleep in even in buggy environments. When trying to hang the hammock to two convenient trees, I found that the 2 included webbing pieces weren't quite long enough to wrap around the trees and tie. Yes, you have to know your knots if you want to use this hammock. I had a length of rope I used to tie around the bigger tree and attached a piece of webbing to the other tree. Luckily the two trees were an ideal distance apart so the hammock hung well. Getting in was relatively easy because this hammock didn't stretch as much as other hammocks I have. The net flops on top of you unless you use the included string to secure the netting a little higher on the tree to make yourself a little canopy. If I were camping with this, I would set up a ridge line a few feet above the hammock to suspend my waterproof tarp and I would attach the netting to that. But you can also tie it to the tree. Also, the webbing provided is a simple webbing and does not have any loops, so you will have to adjust the length by tying it to the appropriate length. They have 2 carabiners to attach the hammock to the webbing. Overall, the hammock is a compact lightweight package and with the addition of some rope or webbing, it can be a good addition to your hiking/lounging kit.

The straps this comes with are little more than short thin ribbons of nylon. You'll want to get yourself something thicker, longer, and with carabiners on the ends for convenience's sake. Otherwise, the mesh really does a good job at keeping the bugs out (or in, if any followed you into the hammock!).I do recommend also getting a length of paracord to run through the loops that are spaced out along the mesh cover to hold/suspend it above your head as seen in the product photos, as this hammock does not come with any string or cord to do that with and it's worth doing so the mesh doesn't rest on your body and allow bugs to bite you through it.Speaking of bugs biting through... While insects don't seem able to get INTO the hammock from the outside once it's sealed, the material is thin enough that I'm pretty sure they could bite your rear from the outside as you lay in the hammock, so I'd also recommend bringing a blanket to line the hammock with to ensure there's a layer thick enough that mosquitos can't bite through. If you don't live or intend to go to an area with mosquitos or other insects with long, piercing/sucking mouthparts this may not be an issue.Otherwise and overall I'm pleased with the concept and, if properly augmented, think it will be a great way to spend time outdoors in the fresh air without getting bit to pieces on bad mosquito days. Thanks!

This hammock is very comfortable. It is easy to pack back up into the attached bag. When in use the bag can be used for holding stuff like a cell phone. It dries easily. When all packed up, it does not take up a lot of room and is light weight. We have another hammock that came with straps that have several loops that I like a lot better. The strap that came with this one requires you to tie it off and does not seem as sturdy. I used the straps I already had. The first time I hung this it was too low and when our kid got in it, the sagged to the ground. I adjusted it higher. When he got in I noticed there was a hole in the netting with a little dirt around it. I'm not sure if the hole was already there or if it tore when he sagged to the ground. Either way the net is easily torn. It is a small hole but I would suggest being very careful. It is a bit of a pain tying up the strings that hold the net up. You have to do this or the net with just lay on top of you. I guess if there is a lot of bugs/mosquitos it would be worth the extra step. I'd like to be able to not have to tie the net if I didn't want to use it. But obviously people are probably buying this for the net.

I got this for my daughter to use while camping. She wanted to try it out in the backyard and ended up spending several hours a day in it reading books in the backyard. The bug net makes it a peaceful retreat instead of having to swat mosquitoes. Everything does pack back into the pouch, but it does take a bit of effort to roll it all up tightly enough to make it fit. She's 10 and can attach this to the trees easily enough with the included tree straps.

This FYeang hammock would be an ok backpacking hammock, but is not heavy duty enough for more permanent setups or for harsh use like kids. The hammock is far too small for me to realistically call it a double hammock, and the straps that come with it are a joke. The hammock itself is supposedly reversible so you can use it without the net, but in practice this would be weird—the netting would be dangling under it. The seams and material are generally ok if you are not going to be jumping or swinging in it like a kid, but I’m sure the netting will be torn on mine within a few backpacking trips. The weight and size are the best features—it is quite lite even compared to my other “large” backpacking hammock, and it stuffs into its attached back down to a quite small size. The straps are the weakest part of the product. They are flat nylon ribbon straps that don’t look strong enough and definitely are not long enough; if you use them, your hammock will have a very pronounced arc to it; I prefer to setup in a wider gap so the hammock is flatter and easier on the back. Despite this, it was comfortable enough once I was in it; the extra space of the “double” hammock was enough to assume several comfortable poses and I managed to nap in it often on a week-long camping trip. The bug netting was effective, and the zipper worked well enough. The storage pocket inside was a nice touch. Another minor setup ding, the strings holding the netting are best separated by a foot or two, which is really only possible if you are using thick trees which in turn is hard to do with the short straps. Overall, not a terrible hammock but at the price point there are other options that are better.
