NICHE PISTON
An ATV piston is a component of engines, pumps, and gas compressors. It is located in a cylinder and is made gas-tight by piston rings. In an engine, its purpose is to transfer force from expanding gas in the cylinder to the crankshaft through a piston rod and or connecting rod
Piston Anatomy
A piston is a cylindrical engine component that slides back and forth in the cylinder bore by forces produced during the combustion process. The piston acts as a movable end of the combustion chamber. The stationary end of the combustion chamber is the cylinder head.

Jug was nice as were gaskets and rings but Wrist pin was out of spec for my 2010 420 too much play and has ticking noise in engine now have to go back in, stock pin fit rod good bit tighter

Good, complete kit. All seemed nearly identical to the OEM parts being replaced. One notable difference was the wrist pin clips. The clips provided were quite a bit heavier than the original clips making them difficult to install into the the piston. Was able to get them in the proper position with a bit of effort. No Instructions included. A simple diagram indicating recommended ring position would have been helpful during assembly. Machine fired instantly and runs great.

Pistons and rings performed as they were supposed to. They were installed on a mud fourwheeler that is in deep water frequently and it has been flooded twuce since being rebuilt with this kit and is still going strong with no issues.
