Namura pistons have MOS2 (Molybdenum/Teflon) skirt coatings, high-silicon aluminum and anodized domes. Piston kits come with the piston(s) individually wrapped, a set of OEM quality rings packed in their own box, wrist pin(s), and circlips. Namura rings are made by Riken the world's largest OEM manufacturer and are the same OEM rings used on more motorcycles and ATV's than any other brand. A, B and C pistons are available to help extend the life of expensive Nikasil, SCEM, Boron Composite and Ceramic Cylinders.

Piston broken in half , cheap poor quality not once but twice .Contacted namura and they claim it was excessive heat lol what a joke .Piston clearly broken in half right off the wrist pin , damaged cylinder , head and half cases have a hole from the skirts when they broke .The scoring seen on what’s left of the skirts is from aluminum in the cylinder from the piston breaking . They claim it’s from a blown head gasket . If the head gasket was blown the head would have severe pitting . Do NOT buy this kit , as I was told it’s mass produced by the thousands with poor quality from namura .

Wrist pin does not fit through the piston. Lubed or unlubed. Thought due to tight fit would need to use pin puller to place in and it damaged piston pin sleeve. Will return. Looks great other then that, but won't be able to see performance due to the damage. Thought I would try due to the price. May try again due this possibly being a defect.

This was a great product worked great ran it hard riding almost everyday for a whole season no issues and I was able to sell the quad at the end of season still running great for more then I had in it sense the parts were so affordable

When you buy a piston assembly should be a wrist pen Bearing with it to but rest was good

Very impressed with how fast the shipping on this item was which helps my business continue to live up to our reputation on quick repairs aside from using quality parts. This piston is my go to for rebuilds no matter the application. I also like the fact that they offer slight oversize variants to accomodate cylinder hone/ deglazing to eliminate the skirt from slapping and shattering. Highly recommend and rate 5 stars across the board this go round.

Looks like a great finished part and mic's out nicely. Good wristpin fit.C clip retainers are made of some ungodly heavy steel that has no flexibility. Almost impossible to install. Thankfully I retained the OEM clips and they went in fine.

Fit a 97 polaris sport 400, replaced my factory standard intake hole piston with this one that has the oblong holes, works great, don't worry about the intake port shape like the manual suggests.
