I really wasn’t sure I needed one of these. It looks awkward in more trouble than it’s worth. That is until I hung a big V mount battery to power my field monitor. Then suddenly this thing turned magical and I wondered how I lived without it for so long. The fit and finish are excellent and the build quality is very premium. It looks a little bit weird for those of us who are used to more camera cage boxy gear without a strange diagonals and angles.But once you use this thing it’s gonna be hard to go back. I thoroughly recommend this item for people who work with field monitors. Is a well-made premium quality item that actually solves a problem that you might not realize you had.
