Well it’s plastic so you’ll need to be very careful with it. On the positive side, it was a perfect fit for my HP 17 by3063st laptop.

I was today's years old when I realized I could do a laptop repair! How empowering! My dogs which are frequently a topic of my reviews decided to jump on the bed and fly my laptop onto the floor cracking the case....Very easy to fix and sturdy material! Back in business..and the dog is out of doghouse!! ;-)

My wonderful HP laptop bottom case and keyboard cover broke. I ordered both pieces and took it to a local computer store who did a great job installing it. Had to go through a third party because HP doesn't make these parts. Received quickly, packaged well, and was the perfect fit. My only complaint is that the silicone strip on the bottom does not stay on. Doesn't affect performance.

Perfect; I just completed my HP 17-ca0011ds laptop repair and this brand-new OEM part was exactly what I required. Fast shipping; safely packaged. Along with some other parts I ordered the laptop now works perfectly! Thank you!!!Note: SAVE the long rubber strips when you take them off (they must be removed to reveal the screws underneath) the old cover so you can reuse them. They aren't 'needed' but they help the laptop grip the surface of your table etc. My new OEM cover piece did NOT come with these strips but if you keep the old ones protected from the dust etc they work perfectly well and are still sticky enough to pop back on like you never took them off.
