This is not one of the higher end cases that Negrini is known for, but MUCH better than most cases shotguns come with if they even come with a case. Most of those cases are not lined, but all plastic and don't have locks. This is definitely an upgrade. I needed a case for my old Lanber sporting clays gun and this was perfect for it. I would only get one of Negrini's more upscale case if I was travelling by air with my shotgun, or if I had a more expensive gun to put in it. But this Negrini is perfect for an O/U that didn't come with a hard breakdown case.

Product was not as described, the case is not what is pictured nor is it for an O/U shotgun. The case has an interior that has to be cut out And is not for an over and under without modification. Advertised as blue, with a fitted interior, actual case is black with a pluck and pull foam interior.Buyer beware.

After getting tired of lugging around a weight of a Americase, I opted for try this for when I knew I would not be using tubes, as well as other for O/U and SxS. My hope is it would be better than your standard, cheap, foam on each side plastic box.The case is quite acceptable as a go to the range case and will fit the bill. Light means not really good for air travel in my opinion, it is what it is.There is a issue with SxS hammer guns, the case is a bit too tight for them, so keep that in mind.

Got something to say about my first Negrini case. And it ain't pretty. I'm very disappointed. I was holding Negrini Cases in high regard, based on... their advertising and "opinions" found on Internet... Turns out the only thing premium about the case I bought is the price - the design (in terms of functionality) and the quality of materials and workmanship is... Walmart at best. A $49.99 good looking, not very useful, flimsy case sold for $190 (after taxes and shipping). The padding is some cheap foam and polyester fleecy stuff (I was expecting foam and felt for this kind of money). The combination locks are stamped from cheap, thin, galvanized metal and don't close properly. Have to fiddle with the wheels to be able to open them. The hinges are flimsy and the plastic makes a cracking noise every time the case opens because the two halves overlap unevenly. Two of the rivets that hold the hinges in place were smashed in at installation (one of them has a gap on one side, crescent shaped). The worst part is that the case won't fit any break action 12ga shotgun -- nor Side by Side neither Over and Under. A Side by Side with the splinter forearm would fit but would have to push in hard enough to get the plastic wall to bend, which, of course, rubs on the wood, which, of course, in time will leave a mark on the wood.See for yourself: [...]

Great case as usual from Negrini but it is a little on the small side. I use it for a 12 gauge 28" Browning Citori and it is a VERY tight fit and tough to get closed but it works and does it's job. I would have given it 5 stars if there was just a little more room inside the case.

Using most often with a Browning Citori Crossover Target O/U with 30" barrels, with extended (Muller) chokes. Not sure 32" barrels would fit without removing chokes; check your measurements against the stated dimensions. Does require very slight alignment when closing but closes very securely. This is the most basic case Negrini makes, so keep that in consideration. I'm very satisfied, for the cost. I use this case for driving from home to the gun club, or to the field when hunting. I prefer this to the basic soft case that I was using previously.I don't think I would fly with this case; it may be OK, but I think I'd invest in a higher end Negrini case for that purpose.

It's good enough to use with my Browning 725 Sporting 30", but just barely. Inside fit is a little tight, and will only get tighter when I lengthen my stock by a half-inch. But my biggest complaint is the flimsiness of the shells. With my gun inside (compressing the foam) I have to manipulate the edges together on each side for the locks to close. Once closed there's a visible gap of a couple millimeters between the two halves as you move out from the latches. This is my first Negrini case, and while I wasn't expecting military toughness, I was expecting more. Glad I have a Pelican for airline use.

It's a good, solid, compact case. It's not flimsy like many other plastic cases. It's stiff, doesn't twist or bend. The lining/padding seems sufficient. The gun doesn't rattle around inside. You won't be able to fit much else in there, maybe a cleaning kit and some chokes and a wrench, but that's about it. It is not waterproof/airtight like some. On the other hand, if you leave it in the rain, I doubt that your shotgun will get wet.

This was described as a 1 gun 1 barrel replacement O/U SXS shotgun case. When received a O/U barrel with a standard rib would not fit. I returned it with no problem however missed using it in a tourney, so I was kind of disappointed. I have two other DBL barrel Negrini cases that fit and work great. Too bad.Tim Callahan
