Hermit crabs need mixed sand and coconut fiber substrate (5 to 1 ratio respectively). The information for this product is also wrong. Hermit crabs do not eat the pellets that you can buy from a store. The pellets are toxic and will hurt them! Hermit crabs need a sealed tank to live in, not the cages shown. They will die in these. Please educate yourself before buying anything here.
