This indeed makes great hay for a nativity creche or for a holy supper table on Christmas Eve, but the amount is quite small for the price. I would have been very satisfied if the amount of hay was doubled for this price. The quality is good and it is well-packaged, though. It makes for an authentic Nativity experience.

I don’t know the going rate for sun-baked Italian hay, but this does seem a bit pricey. Although, the bag is larger than I anticipated and some of the pieces are bigger. They range from several inch long sticks to the tiniest flake, but will do just fine for most nativity scenes. I was hoping the bits would be more consistent though. Still totally useable.
