I saw this when I toured the plant last year and had to have it. It was too big to take back with me so ordered it when I got home - the starter set. Told all my family that I needed the set and each took up the cause and last year I had the full set. I put it out with such pride and kept referring to it as my Irish Nativity. Someone on Amazon asked if it was made in Ireland and I replied "yes, I saw in the store" Then someone replied that it was made in China and "designed" in Ireland. I contacted Belleek and after some dodging, got someone to admit it was made in China. I was heartbroken. It's not authentic. You can buy any number of cheap China Christmas nativities and I felt very betrayed that this was not on the packaging or even said in the store. It is beautiful but I have VERY different feelings putting out my China Nativity this year

I bought this for my wife as an anniversary gift. She absolutely loves it. I bought it in June, so I will have to wait to see what it looks like at Christmas.

The Nativity set is beautiful....better than the picture. The set I received included the angel & the star.....each figure was perfect & their faces flawless. I also order the Three Wisemen to complete the scene & they are just as I wished....perfect.

Well made, well packaged, arrived safely from Ireland. This is a keepsake to enjoy for generations. Large enough to need a 36" table by itself to show properly. It will always remind me of our "trip of a lifetime" visiting family on the Emerald Isle. Especially fine way to share the nativity story with grandchildren.

I am so happy with my Belleek Irish Nativity set, I can't wait to add to it. I have wanted this nativity since the first time I saw one at while on a trip to Ireland and now I have it. I will treasure this set for a long time to come.

It is truly beautiful and it reminds me of my ancestry and faith, I have had no problems with the set so far. The only potential problem I have noted is that the star attached to a small nub on the creche. It took a couple of tries to get the star hung and it seemed fairly easy to knock loose. You can buy the star separately so perhaps breakage has been a problem. I cannot imagine the set without a star. Also, the basic set no longer includes the angel. Many companies will send you a set without the angel insted of updating their image. I wish there was more than one shepherd and a couple of more sheep in the set,. Children seem partiularly fascinated by the animals and as this is an introduction to faith for many, anything that improves it in their eyes is a plus.
