I use this bit for removing large amounts of material in CNC jobs. It works effectively without ever complaining and produces a great cut.

Much better quality than the typical Asian junk. Packaging says Made in USA. I bought this as a trial and will definitely buy more Niagara cutters.

Works as expected, and delivers the performance I expect for high performance machining. Niagara cutter has always been top of the line, and being able to order from amazon was handy.

High Quality, precise cut, excellent finish. Started out with a tiny bit of stuttering (perhaps it was cold). The next (warmer) day I coated it with Molybdenum spray/powder and it far far exceeded my expectations. I also used a thick cutting oil then a thinner, at each alternating depth. It ran quite well at multiple RPMs, once I learnt its particular "style". It excelled making fast, small, circular passes at moderate RPMs -- and it melted hard aluminum like butter. I kept checking the bit between depths and it never even got warm to the touch! Making various passes at various speeds, I was able to try a variety of cuts and cuttings from tiny powder-like to large slivers, all without slowing down, stuttering or leaving rough machine marks. The finish on the final piece is amazing -- mirror smooth. this is in a much higher league from a previous carbide bit I was using.

This Square nose end mill cuts aluminum well. Used for several parts beyond what could be counted and continues to cut as new without any chipping. I will say the coating does appear to wear off fairly quick however it does not impede its ability to cut. When the cutter is used to cut Carbon Fiber (Not recommended) The blade dulls after about 3-4 parts. Should more aluminum parts be attempted after the carbon cuts it tends to push material out of the way vice cut. Again this is no fault of the cutter as it is not intended for carbon fiber use. When used as advertised it works well and lasts.

High quality end mill. Have used on both manual and CNC machines with no problems. They cut like a dream and leave an excellent surface finish. Would buy again with no hesitation.

I have been using this is one of my main mills to do cuts in everything from hardwood, softwood, and MDF on my 4 x 8 CNC table. I find that this mill gets the job done, even at high RPM and feedrates, where other mills get chatter. The mill has never had an issue with going through material, giving me great finishes on cuts, and I turn to this mill for a lot of designs because you can get into the corners on more intricate designs that a larger end mill would not be able to do.I would recommend this mill for your go to tool when doing a good majority of wood work. It has been through more than 50 jobs and is still sharp and ready to run.

What's not to like. It does what it's supposed to do, drilling or milling. I used it to finish the bottom of a blind hole I needed to tap. Just had to be careful of the sides of the hole or the milling edges on the side of the bit would overbore the hole. Was torn between two or four flutes for chip removal versus smoother finish so I settled for this three flute version. Worked great for my purposes as I got a clean hole with no chips at the bottom and a good finish.

This cutter works extremely well, great finish is produced on Steel Alloys. I can tell this is a well made product and I will only purchase Niagara cutting tools in the future.
