This appears to be good quality and made by Siemens, who bought out Murray many years ago. I was hoping they had a replacement, however it did not fit:The opening for the busbar / backstab is restricted by a piece of metal , preventing full insertionThe opening for the hook is restricted by the plastic casingIt is ever so slightly too wideMy MURRAY panel is pretty old (probably from the 60's):model LC008SA CLASS NIswitch type : MP, EP This "MP1515" seems to be claiming it is a compatible MP switch for Murray panels, but it is not, at least in mine.It might be fine in other Murray panels, but I have to give a low rating because there's not enough info or photos to tell you... so I returned.

Haven't installed them yet in my Murray panel box but they sent one brand new in an unopened plastic bag and the other one looked old, no bag and real dusty. Probably an old returned product. Not happy about that one. If it doesn't work, Amazon will hear about it.

These basically didn't work on my box, unless i broke a piece of plastic out on the part where the knife connector goes in

This breaker worked in an old Crouse-Hinds load center, with a tiny modification. Little tabs on the bottom needed to be trimmed for a full and secure fit. With all the 'who-bought-who' business around Crouse-Hinds/Murray/Siemens..... it was a bit daunting to find the right breaker, meaning one that not only works, but wouldn't upset an electrical inspector. Reasonable price as well, considering that it is a new item for an obsolete load center.

Just needed one more circuit for lights in my garage panel , ( just 8 lug ) and seen this space saver breaker. nice way to go if you need one, or a couple more circuits. lot cheaper than adding or replacing panel. turns single stab into double feed. same size as breaker you took out. just make sure not to over load your box, which in most cases you are not running everything at same time anyway.

Murray breakers are not available locally and I wanted breakers that matched the Murray breakers in my old Murray panel (even though others would have worked fine). These breakers are exactly as described and installed easily.

In my experience, GFCI's (and I've heard, AFCI's) tend to trip on the coldest, darkest nights at about 2 AM. So, I'm making the run to a new inside subpanel to avoid having the tenants have to go outside for any such nuisance AFCI trips. ;-)The circuits I'm protecting are for the bedrooms, hallways, living room, and dining room. I'm taking off a new 50 Amp single-pole breaker in the main panel, with appropriate sized wire, and then, downstream of 3 15-Amp AFCI breakers in the subpanel, back to the main panel, and then connecting back into the old circuits. This protects AFCI protects each of those old circuits.BTW, under NEC 2008, the run from main panel to the AFCI breakers has to be in conduit, if those breakers aren't in the main panel itself.
