The fabric is much thicker, more durable, and water resistant than anything else I've seen on the market. They really should drop the reversible design, have textured rubber on one side of the material or a rigid floor insert to prevent slipping. the hammock is very slippery ends up like a saggy sheet suspended between the front and rear seats. the dog hates it, and doesn't feel secure. They should also drop the cheap plastic buckles and go with a heavy duty design.

why no seatbelt holes to attach the dogs seat belt. major safety issue. will probably return which is too bad because i really like the material

I've been looking for a seat cover/dog hammock for a very long time, I tried a few that were of poor quality, construction and way too small. A friend told me about Mud River and checked it out.The product met my criteria for the size, stye and quality. I use the 68x68" for my truck. Easy to install, easy to clean and I like the reversible option.

If you hesitate because of the price, stop thinking and buy it. The material is thick, and there is lot of adjustement for the tie-down strap so whatever the place you want to use to secure the strap, there is a way to have a good adjustment. I have the regular one and the size if ok for a RAM 1500 with quad cab. The only point they could improve is the width that could be 2 or 3 inches wider, because there is about 1 inch each side of the seat that is not cover but I don't find it a problem since the dog usually ride on the center of the seat. It's nice looking and the dogs love it after a hard morning at work in the field.

Fit my Nissan Rogue 2012 just fine. There is no room for seatbelts but it’s not a big deal since my dog is the only one riding back there. I have a 90lb pitbull and this is the only seat cover that is sturdy enough for his weight and claws. Easy to clean too I can just vacuum all the hair off it and it’s water proof as well.

The XL is best for trucks. I have a Chevy Silverado 1500, and this a little wider than I need. They are pretty heavy duty. I got the black one. It is reversible. It is silver on the reverse side. It has two pockets, one each riding where the back of the front seats would be. The attachment system is a strap with buckles that can be adjust by changing which loop on the hammock you slide it through. Overall, a very good product.

The construction and Quality of this product are second to none. I have two labs, and we use this to protect the leather on my seats during duck season. The straps are top quality, and the ruggedness of the material is impressive. The only reason this product got four stars instead of 5 is that I wish it was 4-6 inches wider so that it would cover the full length of the seats in the back of my GMC Sierra 1500. IF you have a smaller car or truck this will be perfect. On a whole, I highly recommend this seat cover. I love how easy it is to take in and out.
