This is a great podcast startup kit. You get everything that you need to start with. The mics have very good quality audio. The headphones give you clean audio so that you know at all times you are outputting top notch audio. The mixer works flawlessly and is very easy to setup. The instructions help to simplify the setup process and ensure that you have a working system. The mic stands/boom arms are very sturdy and easy to position and you can choose your pop filter color of choice for the mic. This is an amazing value for a full kit as i have mics that cost more than this entire kit.

Incredible value and quality for the price considering all of the things included in this kit. If you’re new to audio production the biggest learning curve will be the use of a DAW and that’s the best news possible. This gear will not get in your way and will do what you need it to do every time.

For a beginner set, this is a great bundle. The microphones are crisp and clear and do a good job of keeping out background noise. The full setup was easy and the instructions will help if you run into issues. The stands are sturdy and the adjustable section lets you get the perfect angle. The cables seem to be of good quality too.

This is a fantastic set. You receive two of everything except the audio interface. The initial set up is very simple, as the kit comes with everything you need to get started. Everything connects into the audio interface so it makes cable management relatively easy and I also love it supports power through USB C. The audio interface is advertised as being portable, as it can be powered via batteries, however, it's intended use in that sense is likely meant for situations where you may be recording a podcast or video outside where power outlets aren't available. In terms of the dials, there are two sets for each microphone: one controls the gain and the other controls the volume to the connected headphones via 3.5mm jack on the front. There is one more smaller dial that controls the balance of voice and output so you can be aware of how loud you might be.The boom arm is rather simple and straight forward and secures to the edge of a table or desk. Out of the box, the microphone can thread on to the end of the arm. There are screws on the middle joint and on the point where the microphone connects to secure the microphone in place once you're satisfied. The microphone itself is a dynamic type, so one of the more beginner friendly types that is flexible as well as being a cardioid recording pattern. One side note to add, the audio interface also features a toggle button for phantom power, this is not needed for the included microphones in the set. It's a welcome add-on if you are using a more advanced microphone later on. Using the microphone to record sample clips, my voice is recorded with great detail and depth, but this can be further adjusted with your preferred software to your taste. The instructions also outlines exactly how to orient the microphone to ensure you're getting the best recording right away. Now for the negatives, the audio interface while I do like the size and the fact it's portable, it feels very cheap due to its plastic body. It's also very light, so you may end up pulling it across your desk by accident. Depending on how you transport it, the plastic body doesn't give me much confidence for durability to withstand bumps and bruises. The boom arm is simply just a super basic arm, but while it is sturdy when secured and the microphone screws onto the end directly, it also means any tapping, typing, or any sounds on the table the arm is attached to will be picked up by the microphone. I would have loved to have seen this kit include a suspension for the microphone to help minimize transference. So while the microphone sounds great, it will also mean you will likely be stuck using noise cancellation through software to eliminate these sounds at the cost recording quality. Now, for $300, I would still recommend this set for anyone wanting a cost effective way to record audio, stream, or record podcasts. This is especially true for people that are not at all tech savvy and want an easy purchase to make if they are buying this for someone as a gift to have confidence everything is ready to go out of the box with no unpleasant surprises.

Getting all of this kit in one bundle is great and the quality of Movo products is always excellent. This is a perfect setup for anyone who has a podcast or just needs to record or live stream conversations for other media uses.

My cousins expressed an interest in pod casting. I got this set and we’ve been starting to produce our own pod cast! This set brought my twin cousins out of their shell in the best possible way. The set comes with everything you need, down to the cables. It’s a great way to spark interest into recording. Excellent.
