Received the product quick. It was stated that it was made for my particular year vehicle. After breaking the front end apart to install the blocks, I realized the bolts that were sent with the blocks were too short. They at least a half inch too short. Now I’m stuck trying to find new bolts that work.

Only knocking a star off because the bolts that come with it are too short. Comes with 3" bolts which are the same as factory, you'll need 3.5" bolts to get the length needed. Also like others have stated you don't need to remove the tie-rod end. But with 4wd you do need to drop the knuckle to get enough clearance for the bolt under the axle. I have a 2015 silverado that has been in the Midwest its whole life and the upper ball joints popped out easily with a few good hammer blows. So the only bolts that absolutely need to be undone are the sway bar upper nut, upper ball joints, lower strut bolts, and the 2 10mm bolts holding the speed sensor/brake like brackets. A little jack under the lower control arms to keep things under control helps too. Then just a prybar to help move things around. Don't forget to get a front end alignment!

Product is good quality and comes with easy to follow instructions. No issues whatsoever if you follow the instructions. However just a few notes. There is no need to disconnect the steering arm, and also getting the upper ball joint to pop loose will not be as easy as it looks in the video! HA. The nice thing about Motofab is they are cheaper than rough country, as good or better quality, and you can pick multiple heights on your level kit. I went with the 1.5" kit and there is right about 1" rake left in my 2018 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 6.2L with the heavy tow package. Just how I wanted it, I cannot stand when the front end looks taller than the back or when someone tows a trailer and it stands the front end up. Hopefully that 1" rake will help eliminate that some! The front end is still noticeably taller with the 1.5" kit. Highly recommended.

Just installed this kid on my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 4X4. As I'm sure you've seen, most of the instructional videos and forums suggest separating the upper control arm from the steering knuckle to install this spacer. I was able to very easily install without separating the upper control arm and without much effort at all - took about an hour. Here's some general step-by-step instructions for how I installed (do at your own risk - I'm not suggesting ignoring the instructions!)1. Jack truck up and place firmly on jack-stands. I got both front wheels in the air to evenly unload the sway-bar and suspension. Remove front wheel on the side you're working on.2. Remove nut from the top of the sway bar link, bolt may fall out - mine stayed in (15mm)3. Remove the two bottom bolts on the strut which connect it to the lower control arm (factory are also 15mm). As soon as you get them out, you'll see the whole control arm assembly drop about 1/2 - 3/4 inch which happens to be about all the room you need to insert this leveling spacer. The strut came somewhat out of alignment from the holes on the lower control arm, but that's OK4. Prepare your hardware, nut, bolt, washers, and spacer. Grab a crowbar/prybar. I used a 2' long bar with a rubber end to not damage my shiny new control arms or strut.5. Slip leveling spacer into place. Once the spacer is in, GENTLY use your prybar against the control arms to nudge the strut back over the lift spacer and holes in the control arm. Note, you are not prying the strut up to increase clearance, simply using it to push the strut forwards, backwards, inboard, outboard etc. to align everything. Instructions advise to insert bolts from bottom, that's what I did.6. Begin re-assembly by tightening nuts and bolts provided in the kit to the specified torque. Follow by re-assembling sway bar end links and properly torquing.7. Install wheel and repeat on the next side.8. Get it ALIGNED! Took my truck to the neighborhood shop and they didn't get it right (but didn't charge me anything). I called a popular 4x4 shop in my area to see who they recommend for alignments on lifted trucks and used their guy - very worth it.Good luck! Truck will look great - not too much lift and it retains a little forward rake.

I gave this product 5 starts because there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and it did exactly what it was advertised to do. It's a well made product. I read the installation instructions, as well as other installation feedback, and I was expecting to have to work a little but it to be a fairly straightforward install on my 2017 Z71 Silverado. I mean all you do is disconnect the tie rod, sway bar, two bolts on the strut, drop the control arm with a little applied force and slide it in. I'm pretty handy with a set of tools but I am just an average guy with average tools doing this sitting on a bucket or laying on the ground in my driveway. It was hell.It took nearly three hours and fought me the entire time. The drivers side was tough but OMG at the passenger side. Nothing would align, move or cooperate. I finally aligned one hole, installed the bolt loosely to hold the spacer in place and then with some choice words, finally walked the other side in. I'm exhausted. That's a lot of work for 3/4 of an inch.Anyway, I'm glad I only went with the 3/4" spacers because my truck is nearly completely level. I'm sure it will settle once I drive it a bit since my truck has less than 5k miles on it and everything is still new and tight but any higher and I would have been disappointed.
