Sturdy build, built better than the original OEM plus a zurk fitting, you must have a ball joint press kit to remove a d install the ball joint. Do not bang with a dam hammer!

Compared to the OEM version, this ball joint is tighter and better constructed. Installed on a 2007 Honda Element.

So far, it has been good. I chose this one because of the heat-treated ball stud. The other brand is cheaper but lacks heat treatment.

MOOG just gets it, someone is doing their analytical job at MOOG and looking deeply into how their parts are best applicable. The detail is the zirk fitting is tapped yet plugged, but adaptable as shipped. This is important for the Element and CR-V applications where the ball joint mounts downward and beneath the CV axle. The clearance for a zirk fitting is just not there unless you remove the axle. If you are unaware, you would install a ball joint with a top zirk fitting, just to find out that your axle either ripped off during its reinstall. Or, if you're lucky, you will see there's no clearance for your axle and have to remove the fitting and find a suitable (8mm?) bolt to drop in the ball joint.Structure wise? The joints feel solid and were very resistant to human-strength manipulation. That said, on the vehicle, the steering inputs feel just as solid and the suspension rests nicely on hub in response to terrain. I don't offroad but I do get around some dicey city streets and under-construction freeways.Shipping was fast as promised and parts were unquestionably new. 5/5 stars. I'll be back here to drop my stars count if my wheel/s fall off and I survive it.

Compared to honda OEM Ball Joint these are so much more beefier and just more to it, Quality is thru the roof, and like i said if your not buying moog what are you doing? I'll tell you.. Wasting your time and money, get these parts and you wont regret it like you will stoping at autozone or whatever even the OEM just doesn't look this good or feel good.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Honda Element LX AWD. It saved me a good chunk of cash as I didn't have to replace the whole knuckle.

I installed a pair of these in my 2004 Honda Element EX. It's a tight fit, even with a press, as this ball joint is about 0.1mm bigger. That means if you use these, you'll probably never be able to use an original Honda part without buying a new knuckle (who does that?). I also noticed that the threaded post is a bot shorter than the Honda part, but it was still long enough to fasten securely. The retention ring is a nice improvement over the original.
