It worked great for a while, but then the main light stopped functioning, leaving only the backlight working, which was disappointing. The light doesn’t use batteries—it’s powered through a C-port to USB plug that connects to your laptop. It was convenient to use for a few months, but unfortunately, it completely stopped working after that.

This lamp does a great job of illuminating the monitor. The extra light causes the screen to be a little clearer and easier to read. It reduces glare and helps reduce eye fatigue.As an added bonus it lights the desk in front of the monitor quite nicely.

Unlike the floor or desk lamps, this monitor light bar sitting on the upper bezel of the monitor has a very specific lighting angle to avoid glares to my eyes and effectively lights the workspace area. This includes the keyboard, mouse, and area where my elbows/wrists rest. A lot of times when I have the paperwork or documents from work, those placed in between my elbows are all lit up clearly without blinding my eyes.The remote control is very convenient to turn on/off, and change colors and brightness which makes it extremely handy from the desktop where this remote control would sit.If I had to pick one of the most useful desk tools, this would sit pretty near the top. It's that good!

・LEDランプ本体のサイズは長さ411mm、直径19.5mmの円筒形です。実測重量は117.7g、アルミ製で高級感があります。ディスプレイに引っかかける台座はプラスチック製で中におもりが入っています。重り部分とディプレイに載せる部分は滑り止めのゴムでカバーされています。実測重量は420.2g。ディスプレイには引っ掛けて固定するのですが結構安定して取り付けできます・LEDの電源はUSB-Cポートから供給します。付属ケーブル長さは150cm、ACアダプターは付属していません・照明のON/OFF、明るさや色温度などは付属の無線リモコンで操作します。リモコンの反応がもう一つです。リモコン用の電池（単4電池2本）は付属しています。背面にもLEDが付いていますが必要性はあまりなさそうです・ライトの照射角度がほぼ固定されるのでディスプレイに映り込むことがあります。ライトの角度を自由に変更できたら良いなと思いました

組み立ても簡単だし、特に問題なく使えました。説明書は一応日本語でも書かれてます。モニターに合わないようなこともなかったですが、がっしり挟まるような感じでの設置はできないので、薄すぎるモニターだと合わない場合があるかもしれません。色も暖色系や寒色系に変えられるので、用途によって使い分けできていいと思います。耐久性についてはわかりませんが、長持ちすればいいなと思いました。
