I have a Rode NT-USB I use at my desktop for talking to friends or messing around. That microphone comes with a notoriously awful ring mount that you can't even really buy a replacement for. It's a weird size, it's plastic, it's terrible. Mine broke a while ago, I e-mailed Rode, they sent me a new one. That new one also broke. I didn't want to send Rode another e-mail and start some sort of yearly ring mount correspondence dance, so I thought I'd find a shock mount that kept the microphone on the desk stand but didn't break constantly.In that sense, it works great. The microphone stays attached. As a shock mount, I would absolutely hate it if I was using it with my professional gear. It is what it is, a cheap shock mount made out of souped up rubber bands that don't really stay in place. It's fine for Discord, but it would be difficult to deal with in my home studio. The microphone slips and slides, which would be frustrating if I needed it to stay in place consistently. If you just need something to attach a mic to a mic stand, this will work. If you need a reliable shock mount for your studio that would lead to the microphone shifting, idk man.

Bought this specifically for an AKG 3000B. Mic fits great. Nice and snug. The price was cheap so I was skeptical but the quality is quite good.

It's all-metal construction and fairly solid build. I had a small problem with the "butterfly" levers being a little noisy (clanking against the mic housing), but I fixed that with some foam tape. I also like that you can get this in silver because that makes it easy to distinguish from my smaller diameter units that are very similar in style except in black (Lyrcro). For $10, you can get something that will outlast those cheesy plastic units.

Funktioniert. Der ganze Schock vom Mikrofonarm wird neutralisiert, man hört nicht mehr wenn ich was auf dem Schreibtisch ablege.Ein Negativpunkt: an diesem Punkt (siehe Bild) fängt es an locker rumzuwackeln, festschrauben kann man es leider nicht mehr.

The fittings were too small to screw onto my desktop stand, I had to pull the fittings apart and find another way of fixing it on there. It holds bigger mics so that's a plus, not impressed with the fittings though.

Es verdad lo que dicen las otras reseñas, no es tan grande. Yo literalmente medí mi micrófono y vi las medidas para ver si quedaba. Y ADEMÁS uno de los micrófonos en laa fotos es el mismo modelo que el mío y APENAS (y con mucho esfuerzo) le queda.

Miwayer Universal Microphone Shock Mount, very well made and a nice tight fit. And for a reasonable price. I did have to use a lil but of pressure to push my mic down into the ideal spot; however, I won’t ever have to worry about it slipping or falling out. All and all; I am pleased with this shock mount. Therefore, I do recommend it.
