They didn't quite fit our rails, but we screwed them to our deck rails.

I would not recommend this product for planting veggies or anything that might produce a lot of weight late in the season. I wouldn't recommend these for the average American deck railing. Won't fit!AND.. The brackets are not sturdy at all! A better design, also, would be to have the holes spaced the same distance on both brackets. That way you could change up the mounting scheme. I just screw mounted them and left the other brackets in a box.This product might be fine for very small apartment balconies but not for an American deck!

This was a great deal considering the number of window baskets AND coconut liners that were also included! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because despite the hooks for railings being adjustable, they are still a good 2" from fitting tight enough on our porch railings to hang level. We tried zip ties in addition to adjusting to the smallest setting but most likely will have to trim some metal to make the hook small enough because they are still unlevel.They are very pretty and arrived quickly. Overall we are extremely pleased and would purchase again. Can't wait to get some flowers planted!
