I replaced the original vent on my camper, which was a fiberglass/plastic thing with this metal one. It fit my existing area perfectly and was easy to install. I used a bit of silicone sealant around the opening to ensure no water leakage would occur. This unit is easy to open and close. I think it will last a long time!

I liked that it's made of metal. The other option in the market is a plastic one which is cheaply made and flimsy, and hardly stays closed when it's windy. But this metal one has a metallic flap which closes much better blocking winter wind well. The temperature in our kitchen has improved significantly after installing it. Installation was easy. Just screw it on. Good value for money given that you get a functionally sound metal vent in the $30 range. Fit easily in our rectangular wall opening of about 10.5 x 3.5 inches. Putting some caulk around it after installing it is my personal recommendation.

Vent was made of med weight metal. Tired of replacing plastic ones that are easily damaged, destroyed by hail. Fit well, installed effortlessly, only draw back....cheap screws. Used stainless steel good quality screws
