I wanted something compact, lightweight, and with a lid-this is all those. One issue that I didn’t think about was putting the lid on when it was fully expanded. I wanted to be able to add hot water to a freeze dried meal, put the lid on and let the water would absorb into the dried food.WARNING: do not put boiling water in a collapsible container and try to press the lid on. I ended up with a “duh! Of course it is going to collapse!” face palm moments.No harm was done except a bit of spilled food.It worked the rest of the week of our canoe trip but, a word to the wise, just rest the lid on top.

Works ok but the lid won't stay closed so I put it in a zip lock bag so it wouldn't come apart

We had an issue with holes forming after just one use, but the seller made good and refunded our money (even though it was a day after the return window that we discovered the problem). They were quick to resolve the problem.

The "cup" is probably about equal to a 1/3 cup measuring cup. I can't get it to fold down flat again. Otherwise, this little mess set should be fine for my Go Bag.

It’s not bad but doesn’t like to stay snapped bag together when collapsed with the cup inside. Perhaps it’s not lined up right but we’ve tried multiple times.

I added it to a shoe box gift, and I could get it in with a space of less than 2" high. The drawstring bag could be used for the set, or for something else.
