The 2-Inch by 36-Inch Pewter Fluted Carpet Trim easily covers a seam or gap between two flooring surfaces of unequal height. Carpet Trim prevents carpet edges from fraying, vinyl floor seams from curling and creates a smooth transition between different flooring surfaces. Aluminum trim is easily secured to wood and concrete floors with provided Screw Nails. For installation on concrete floors use Wooden Pegs (sold separately).

what can you say you cut it to length and screw it down, but I needed it a little wider,that's why I purchased this one and that's why it works for me.

Easy installment and wide enough to cover the area I needed. It is a bit flimsy, so easy to cut. I only needed it for cosmetic reasons, so it was not an issue, but I dented it when the hammer missed the nail. Still, it was a quick easy install for me.

Our floating linoleum flooring shrunk after many years and left a large gap in a door way between the carpet and the linoleum. This well made aluminum strip covered the gap nicely while numerous searches in Big Box stores proved futile. Great product for a simple do it yourself repair.

I used this in a threshold between newly installed plank flooring and carpet.It was a little bit long for what I needed to replace a very old, gold-colored threshold. So I cut it using a hack saw, and that worked nicely. It was easy to fit (bendable) and stays in place well. I recommend.

Used to close a gap between some new flooring I laid down. The material was easy enough to cut when needed and it laid down with no issues. The nails that came with it weren’t used so I can’t speak on the usefulness of them. The product is steady and strong. No issues after a month of use.

Looks fantastic!! Used it for transition from vinyl floor to hardwood. Nice & wide. Easily able to cut to size with metal scissors. Did NOT use nails it came with. Used screws instead. Looks better & FYI: Be careful trying to hammer nails into it... very easily damaged!!! In the past, I've damaged borders this way. Highly recommend this product!!!
