I'm using these to hang some curtains inside the frame of an old fashioned sash window. I think they will serve but let me warn you not to tighten the screws much at all or the brackets will crack. They're super brittle.

I just moved , closet did not have the pole for hanging items.I purchased brackets and the pole, i have allot of clothes & the brackets can hold a good amount of weight. Well worth it. The one thing i have an issue with is, the pole is to close to the ceiling so if you have allot hanging, it can get i little irratating, clothes dont come off the pole that easy. I should have bought a differant size pole.The BRAKETS: VERY MUCH WORTH PURCHASING.
