Love the built quality but i wish the bottom screw doesnt require a hexagonal screwdriver to tighten. Also i personally would like a slightly deeper grip.

Works perfectly! Good quality, has some weight to it, so be prepared for that. The rubbery grip is quite secure and I my finger reaches the viewfinder lever without any issues. That was my main concern when I bought it.

Exactly what I needed. I can still access the battery and memory card, I can mount my camera on my tripod, and the grip feels great.

Original pictures and description are spot on. Fit and finish are correct to this specific frame.Reviews were helpful, good and bad.The biggest advantage is the comfort. The camera without can be slightly small for average sized hands. Usable but not confidence inspiring. after installing, which is a no brainer, the comfort and control was immediate and noticable. Bottom line: if you are having some trouble holding or want to protect the bottom frame of the camera it doesn't disappoint. Side bonus: the battery compartment door wont accidentally open. Its protected!

I really like this grip. It's substantial, solid. It isn't larger than necessary. I prefer to use it with the thumb grip when I'm not using the hot shoe. This is my favorite grip so far.

I'd been using a leather bottom half on my Fuji X100 since 2011. I'd recently gotten a metal grip for my X-T1 and X100F so thought I'd try one for my X100. My ability to hold the X100 with this metal hand grip doesn't feel as secure yet, especially out in the cold. I had no problem with the grip on the X100F or the X-T1. Both of those are more substantial. Two days ago I went hiking in the mountains and used nothing but the X100 with the new metal grip. I got more comfortable with using it instead of the leather half shell. What I really like about metal grips, including this Mcoplus is the ability to change the battery without the fuss I would go through with the leather cover. I had to completely remove the leather cover to access the battery and SD card. Now both are easily accessible. And with the N-95 battery which the X100 uses, changes are more frequent than with the N-126 that the X100F and X-T1 use. This Mcoplus metal grip is not as substantial as the J.B. Camera Designs grip for the X100F. The protuberance of the finger grip on the front surface is quite a bit smaller and there is less material around the bottom of the camera. Of course there are quite a few changes between the X100 and X100F and this Mcoplus GB-X100 was the only one I could find that would fit the X100.In all, the ability to quickly access the battery/SD card compartment outweighs the decrease in holding security. As old as the original X100 is now, it was amazing I could find anything at all.
