So far so good, I work with it slowly, I don’t let all the weight force down on the structure to quickly and it’s very stable. I don’t do anything major but it’s been great for adjustments and brake replacement.. it can hold my 50lbs+ eBike just fine. The clamps are plastic so I don’t shift weight sharp and fast, I think with the right care and careful install and removal this stand will last a while

I have been wanting to replace my stolen (very nice) homemade stand for a couple years now. I've been waffleing between building and buying a readi-made all the while winging it as I nurtured my indecisiveness. Fed-up, I finally bit the bullet and went in search of finding the least costly free standing stand I could find. I found it. Least costly, NOT cheapest. See, I AM cheap. And poor. I'm always tryin' to save a dolla. In fact, I'll pinch a penny so hard it'd squeeze a booger outta Ol' Abe's nose. But, I pulled the trigger on this one and man-o-man am I glad I did. I found NONE of the material flaws and had ZERO problems like I've read in other reviews of this stand. Maybe a couple days late, but that's not the stands fault now is it, AMAZON? I had it assembled in less time then it takes to assemble a bike repair stand. STOUT? Damn right. STURDY? Absa-effing-lutely. I couldn't get it to tip over while it was holding my 22 lb. original, flawless, color shifting paint, '98 Cannondale R800 that I DID NOT want scratched. Passed with flying colors. I trust it implicitly. I had concerns that the blue pads on the vise were a harder plastic. Pleasantly surprised, they're a less hard rubber that I have no fear of. I'll clamp down on my Trek's carbon seat post without delay. Fully articulating. Gets my bike in any position I need it to. Now, is it a $200 Park Tools stand? Helll naawww. But it's worth every bit of the $46 that it took for me to own it. I couldn't build one for that. And little pluses like the tool tray (that's not as cheap feeling as it looks) and FOUR legs, not two, and the nice little wheel stabilizer. Dude. Even if were a little more the $50. Sheeeit. I'm happy.

I bought this because it was the cheapest bike repair stand I could find as I'm a casual rider but occasionally need to make adjustments for my family's bike and bending over or crouching the whole time was really wearing me down.At under $45, I expected something fairly flimsy but serviceable. I was surprised by how sturdy - and heavy - this stand is. All of the pivot points use quick releases so it's easy to adjust. The legs - there are four contrary to some of the photos - can spread fairly wide to prevent tipping over. There are plastic feet which have holes that would imply that it could be bolted down for more stability. The feet are not rubber, just hard plastic and are really the only frustrating thing about this stand as they don't fall into place easily and must be folded to the angle you want. Perhaps they'll loosen up with time.Overall, if you're looking for something to hold up your bike and that you can fold up and stash in the corner, I can't imagine needing much more. It may not have a vise clamp that you can spin open and closed quickly but the quick release levers work well enough.

The wheel brace arrived broken but manufacturer agreed to replace. Shortly after reporting the broken wheel brace, the clamp cracked. The stand itself is sturdy but they used cheap materials on the most critical part which is the clamp assembly. The jaws of the clamp assembly are made of molded plastic. It cracked the third time I used it. I just returned the entire unit. I did buy a replacement with a metal clamp housing. It was twice the cost but to me, it's well worth the extra money.

Fantastic bike stand. I've used this to tune up and perform general maintenance on my Raleigh Misceo 2.0 and it has performed as it should. Package contained all the necessary parts and assembly was a breeze. Very sturdy repair stand that is highly adjustable in both height and leg width. Never felt like it was going to tip over and the handy tool tray and wheel stabilizer were nice features! For the price its hard to beat what you get and much better than trying to work on my bike without it. Would recommend!

This has certainly reduced my back pain :-). Makes cleaning and maintenance jobs easier. The road grime (especially in bad weather) can really reduce the life of your drivetrain/brakes if you don't keep them clean. Throwing my bike on this as soon as I get home makes it so convenient to wipe down the frame/chain/brake tracks really quickly and help prolong their service life. I normally mount it with my top tube, but it holds the bike by the seat tube securely enough, I just don't like removing my saddle bag all the time (I know, breaking "The Rules" even having a saddle bag). Simple adjustment with a wing nut for the different sized tubes. It does have 4 legs, so a bit different than most of the higher-end stands that only have three. I haven't had an issue with it. Very easy to adjust and fold up when not in use. It actually stands nicely on it's own with the legs folded up all the way, which makes for convenient storage. Only need to let the legs out a little bit and it holds my road bike no problem. Had to extend them out a bit further for my mountain bike, but it's nearly double the weight! Stand can move a little while you're moving the pedals, but nothing horrible. A riding buddy has a $200 stand and it did feel more stable, but not $150 worth! Same story with adjusting the clamp/other joints; the more expensive stand was smoother and quicker to adjust, but unless you're working on a team's worth of bikes every day, I doubt it'll be an issue. Along with this, though, the tubing and clamping mechanisms for all the adjustment points definitely feel cheaper then a higher-end stand. I've only had this for a couple months now so can't really speak to durability. But, in that limited time I've used it several times a week for maintenance/inspection/component replacement and I've had no problems. Even stored my bike on it for a couple days. Have done a full wash of both my bikes where the stand got plenty of water, soap, and degreaser on it and I haven't seen any evidence of corrosion or rust.Unexpected use I found for this stand: holding my electronic devices while I'm on my trainer! I use the CycleOps Rouvy app on my phone to record my data while on my trainer, and I can adjust the clamp to hold my phone right where I like it so it's easy to see. I don't have a lot of room in my garage so it works great since I can keep the legs folded in nearly all the way. Also, the tool tray holds my tablet nicely so I can watch Netflix or follow along to a GCN training session on YouTube!
