I really like this overall, it works consistently. But I can’t change the default temperature from 75 (really 74°) to 78°. So at night it keeps us cold and in the daytime it comes on when not needed. I have an air conditioner thermostat a foot away that shows a 7 degree difference in temperature currently. I can’t say why. I regularly-maybe 3 times a day reset the temperature preference to 78° every day, all summer long. ..

Very fast shipping. And product worked just like it was supposed to in replacing the existing control system.

Had to have a professional install it because I don't go on roofs, but it works well and is easy to use once you get a little instruction. Glad I bought it

Our previous controller failed (less said about that the better!) and, as you are reading this, you probably realize, the OEM part is no longer available. Depending upon how your OEM controller is installed, this may be DIY or not. In my case there were simply too many adaptations necessary and I hired a swamp cooler tech to do the install. It took him about two hours and the system works brilliantly. The thermostat is simple and very easy to use. Not quite as simple as the buttons and dial on the old unit, but clearly more accurate. The installation of the thermostat itself was a little difficult because its orientation is vertical where the unit it replaces was horizontal and, as the installation directions describe, a hole is required for the connector in a lower position in the mounting area than its predecessor. All's well that ends well.

You get the wall t-stat and the main controller for unit. Swapped out the old for the new and and everything worked fine again. Nice and cool for the summer.

we bought these to put on our new evaporative coolers. We wanted something similar to the Master Cool thermostats we had before. These are comparable and have been very easy to use. The only thing better on the Master Cool is that they automatically pre wet the pads when they come on for the first time after being dry. These you have to turn on the pump button for a few minutes to wet the pads and then go to auto setting.

At first I was intimidated by the controller but, with patience and diligence, I am very happy with the way it turned out. I mounted it on the outside of my cooler and fed power with a flexible conduit. If you have two pumps, use a 3/4" conduit nut, between the unit and the cooler. The feed for the thermostat is 3/8". Don't feed the low-voltage with the high-voltage.This unit allows you to test the operation of each element: Fan-Hi; Fan Lo; Pump-circ and Pump-Purge. I found out my purge pump was inoperative so I replaced it.It works perfectly!
