I was going to get it at the big orange store but half the time these things are already opened, returned and damaged.Amazon delivered in two days the same exact fan new in the box.Lowered my attic, which is about 600 sq fr 20 degrees already.

This is one of the best attic fans I've dealt with. I've replaced quite a few. This fan is a "gaf" a company that manufactures roofing products. I installed this fan in about 15 minutes replacing a pretty old one. The cowl on this fan is twice the depth of old one that attributes to air flow! Very quiet and NO vibration, that tells its pretty good quality! I had read many reviews for this type of fan and settled on this one. Couldn't be happier with the choice!

My 15 year old fan died, so I replaced it with this one. Easy to install and works like it should. I will give it 5 stars once it runs for a while.

Got two of these same fans in my attic. They still work great after 10 years. Bought this one for my garage. I wired it to either run on the thermostat, run all the time, or off depending on how I set the switches. UPDATE. Well, I bought another one as a spare, Then one of the old ones failed. Installed the spare and bought another one as a spare. Good quality.

The sheet metal housing is thick enough that there's very little vibration; the box includes four L-shaped brackets with screws and 3/8 nylon locknuts that are easy to install. The fan motor is fairly heavy and marked with UL + quality inspection. It produces a soft mid-frequency hum similar to a small aircraft or dryer vent and isn't audible from inside.
