I used this edger for finishing the edges on a small concrete slab job. (54 inches x 34 inches x 3.5 inches). This edger allowed me to get the nice rounded off edge with a smooth finish around it. The tool quality is the best, it looks like stainless steel. It’s easily cleaned after the job with only a garden hose and a rag. This brand was unknown to me until now. I won’t hesitate to buy more of their products in the future for any concrete projects.Free tip: when using it, slightly lift the front of the tool as you move it forward. Let the back side smooth out the concrete. This way, the front won’t dig into the fresh concrete.

This edger has all the refinements to make the job more precise, and with less labor, just the way I like things. It makes me look good (and I’m a hack), or better at concrete finishing, so it’s bound to work for everyone else.This ‘Made in the USA’ product is crafted with a stainless steel blade, with a nice radius for the edge and slight roll or chamfer on the leading and trailing edges, so it won’t drag, dive or otherwise catch. The handle is actually made to fit comfortably in a full grown man’s hand, and barrel shaped rather than the common cylinder with the girth of a broomstick.When working with material like concrete, which will serve as a constant reminder or display of the quality of your work, why handicap the effort with anything but the best regarding finishing tools? You won’t regret the purchase of this Marshalltown item.
