Just what I needed was using it to help loosen hard dirt up. Worked great but I still think a pick axe worked better. I will still keep this and use it for something else down the road.

This appears to be a very substantial and well-made product. If it fit my rotary hammer, I am sure I would have been pleased with it. Please note that the picture on the item page is incorrect. It shows a spline shank spade (round end, with an indention about 1 1/8" up the shank). This spade actually has a hex shank (as, in fairness, the description indicates) and will not fit in the chuck of spline shank tools. I made the mistake of ordering because of its "suggested" proximity to my rotary hammer and the displayed picture. Amazon made the return very easy.
